Welcome.
Today's meditation for focusing accesses a deep relaxation and then presents to you positive affirmations on how to concentrate on the task at hand as well as your bigger dreams.
So find yourself in a nice comforting position where you can easily ignore the outside world for the duration of this session.
As I guide you through a relaxing body scan,
This allows you to cultivate your innate ability to focus.
So become aware of the surface that is supporting you and notice the points of contact that your body is making with the chair or bed or whatever you're sitting or laying on.
Now see if you can feel the temperature of your surroundings with the skin that is exposed.
Focus only on the temperature and the sensation it is giving you.
Is it cool,
Warm or perfectly enjoyable?
Notice how your skin is giving your brain information and with that you come to an instantaneous conclusion of the details around you.
Our bodies are highly intelligent just like our minds.
Notice how everything within your skin is working effortlessly towards the benefit of you.
Your digestive system takes in food for nutrients and liquids for hydration.
So tune into this process feeling a sense of gratitude and even a pleasant enjoyment.
Your lymphatic system removes all toxins throughout the body without any questions or demands.
It just functions perfectly for you.
Your lungs pull in air from the outside and absorb the oxygen then release the carbon dioxide without any interjection from you.
You can however gain conscious control of your breath so that you can access even more oxygen making your entire system perform at an accelerating rate.
So take a big breath in expanding your lungs as much as you can and breathe out,
Breathe all the way out and then breathe in again expanding even more than you did before.
Hold your breath for a second and exhale.
So take several more passionate breaths on your own feeling invigorated by this opportunity to breathe.
Good.
Feel how you're very relaxed now fully focused on this moment.
Now hear these powerful and amazing statements for concentration and allow them to ring true for you.
Determination is key I practice it daily.
Each night before bed I plan out easy decisions for tomorrow such as what I will wear so that there's no getting sidetracked from focusing on what I need to do.
In order to fully focus on my dreams I remove distractions so that attempting my goals has my full attention.
I am aware that social media can influence me to be distracted so I avoid it since my dreams and passions are most important to me.
When I'm working on something and I feel my energy begin to fade I understand this as a sign that I need a break so I honor this signal and do something unrelated so that my mind can sharpen and my body can regenerate.
I make a routine out of taking healthy breaks throughout my day.
This makes for my work and passions to become even greater.
I am always reminding myself of my ultimate goal.
To know what I'm doing this keeps me motivated to focus.
I am proud to be achieving my goals through the power of extreme focus every moment of my life.
