When we're struggling with a frustrating or difficult situation,
It can seem like there's no end in sight.
It can feel like we're going to be stuck here forever.
It's important though that we realize this is not the case.
It's important that we remind ourselves that nothing lasts forever,
No matter how painful and long-lasting it may seem.
This meditation is designed to help you remember this.
Start by finding a comfortable position sitting or lying down and close your eyes.
Take two long,
Deep breaths in through your nose and out through your mouth.
Feel your body relax.
Let your shoulders drop and your neck soften.
Feel the heaviness of your body on the surface you're resting on.
Focus on your breathing for the next minute.
In through the nose and out through the nose.
Don't worry about changing or controlling your breath.
Just breathe naturally.
Let your Revelation begin.
Maintainers empty Let go of your breath now.
Let your thoughts begin to come forward again.
Don't think about anything in particular.
Just let whatever wants to come forward,
Come forward.
For each thought that arises,
You need to remember that everything is temporary.
You're going to do this by adding two simple words to the end of each thought.
Right now.
I am frustrated with my job.
Right now.
I am angry with my spouse.
Right now.
I am happy living in this neighborhood.
Right now.
Whether you consider the thoughts to be positive or negative,
Add right now to the end of each thought that comes up for you during this meditation.
Try not to label your thoughts as positive or negative.
Simply allow them to come up and add the words right now to the end of each thought before you let them go.
Some of your thoughts will be pleasant,
Ones you enjoy and want to last.
Others will be negative,
Ones you wish you didn't think.
Both are natural,
And it's important to add right now to both.
As you do,
Feel a deep sense of gratitude for the pleasant thoughts.
Let the comfort of knowing that nothing lasts forever soothe the rough edges of the negative thoughts.
Let them go.
When you feel ready,
Come back to your body and the space that you're in.
Move your fingers and toes,
Stretch a bit,
And slowly open your eyes.
Anytime you feel frustrated,
Angry,
Stressed,
Or any other negative emotion that you'd like to soothe,
Take a few moments to do this practice.
Simply adding the words right now to the end of each thought can be a clear and comforting reminder that your current situation is not a permanent one.
