Take a moment to get comfortable.
Settle in.
And when you are ready,
You can gently close your eyes.
Take a moment to observe your breath.
To feel how it is moving through your body.
Each inhale lifts up.
Each exhale brings us back,
Pressing us a little more deeply down into our pads.
Each inhale is an acknowledgement.
Each exhale is a letting go.
Letting your body sink down and down and down to become lighter and lighter.
The weight of the day is slipping away as you become more and more ready for a deep sleep.
I am safe.
I am supported.
I am nurtured.
I allow my body,
My mind,
And my spirit to rest.
Any tension,
Stress,
Or worry flows from me.
I acknowledge my body's natural rhythms.
Night is a time for me to rest and recharge.
I sleep through the night,
Allowing my body to wake in the morning,
Feeling refreshed.
When I lay down,
My thoughts begin to slow as I prepare for sleep.
Sleep is a natural process that I enjoy.
I feel as my body sinks deeper and deeper into my bed.
Full of my muscles softening and relaxing.
I am deserving of rest.
I allow myself to sink deeper and deeper towards peace.
I am safe.
I am thankful for the comfort of my bed.
I let go of what I cannot control.
I am grateful for my quieting body.
I am enough.
I accomplished enough.
I let my body sink gently into sleep.
I trust that my mind and body know exactly what to do to sleep.
All I have to do is to let it happen.
There is nothing I need to do to fall asleep.
It will just happen when it is time.
