This is a short guided meditation intended to help you really feel into and create and be with your own sense of sacred self-care.
So just begin by getting into a comfortable position.
You can be sitting or lying down.
And now just close your eyes.
Take a deep breath.
Take a deep breath in and on your exhale.
Just allow yourself to sink deeper into your position.
Settling deeply.
And bring your breathing into its normal rhythm as you settle into this sacred self-care meditation.
Just be here with your breath for a wee bit.
Feel your body expand with your breath in.
And contract with your breath out.
Breathe in and breathe out.
You are worthy of receiving love from yourself.
You are worthy of being your priority.
You are worthy of receiving the love and appreciation and care you so easily give to others.
You are worthy of enjoying this sacred self-care meditation.
Just breathe that in.
Allow yourself to be open to receiving your love.
And now I'd like you to imagine with me that you are sitting in the middle of a large open room of a house.
The sunshine illuminates the room and warms your skin.
The sunlight illuminates the room and warms your skin.
And a soothing aroma makes you feel calm and safe.
It is quiet and the only noises you hear are the songs of nature coming in from your open windows.
Even though the large open room may not resemble your current residence,
You know this is your home.
This is your home where your heart and your body and your soul feel grounded and vibrant.
You are safe here.
Breathe in.
Breathe into this moment of sacred self-care.
Here you can listen.
What do you need right now?
What would make your body feel good?
What would make your mind feel good?
How about your soul?
What would make your soul feel good?
Just take a moment to sit with your breath and with the answers that come up for you.
Breathe in.
Breathe into this sacred self-care.
See the answers in your mind line.
And watch yourself as you stand up and move toward the door.
You deserve to feel good.
You deserve to shine.
Open the door and see those things you called to mind waiting there.
Waiting there and ready for you to call them in.
Take in a deep breath of appreciation.
Breathing in gratitude.
And one by one invite each of those things that you identified.
Each of those things you know will make you feel good.
There is no judgement on what you invited in.
Remind yourself of what was discovered in this sacred self-care process.
Maybe you invited in new boundaries you need to put in place to protect your energy.
Maybe you invited in the permission to say no.
Maybe you invited in the permission to say yes.
Maybe you invited in something that seems luxurious and lavish.
It's all okay.
And you are worthy of it all.
So just take a nice deep breath in and see yourself in the middle of this room again.
Surrounded by all the things that you have thought about to show yourself love.
To care for the auspicious person that you are.
You are worthy of this sacred self-care.
And now see yourself looking into a mirror on the wall as you place your hands together in front of your heart.
See your reflection as you bow your head.
And let yourself say out loud,

Let the light inside of you recognize the light inside of you.

Now it's time to end this meditation.
Bring your awareness back to where you're sitting or lying.
Take a few deep breaths,
Gently wiggling your fingers and toes.
And when you're ready,
Gently blinking your eyes open and really feeling that beautiful,
Loving light that you have always had within you.
