Welcome to this healing meditation practice from Warrior 2 Yoga.

This meditation is designed to support your body's natural healing abilities and to foster a positive mindset as you recover from your injury.

To start,

Find a comfortable position.

It can be either sitting or lying down,

Whatever is most comfortable for you and allow your body to settle into a state of ease.

If it feels safe to do so,

You can gently close down your eyes and take a deep breath in,

Inviting a sense of relaxation to wash over you.

And as you begin to relax,

Bring your attention to your breath.

Notice the gentle rise and fall of your belly.

With each inhale,

Allow your breath to slow down naturally.

Find a slow breathing rhythm that feels calming and soothing to you.

And as we embark on this healing meditation,

It's important to listen to your body.

If at any point you feel discomfort or pain,

Honor your body's wisdom and make any necessary adjustments or modifications.

And as you continue to breathe deeply,

Bring your awareness now to the area of your body that is injured and just notice how it feels.

Maybe it feels sore or stiff.

Can you feel any warmth in the injury?

Maybe it feels swollen.

So just observing your injury but without any judgment.

Now visualize a soft warm light surrounding and permeating this area.

This healing light is filled with a divine energy,

Carrying the innate wisdom of your body's own ability to heal itself.

And with each breath,

Imagine this healing light expanding and intensifying on your injured area.

Visualize it as a vibrant glowing ball of healing energy,

Gently surrounding and nurturing your injury.

Feel a deep sense of comfort as this healing light soothes any discomfort or pain you may be experiencing.

And imagine yourself moving freely and without any pain.

As you continue to breathe,

Allow yourself to feel the warmth of the healing light flowing through your body.

Feel the light soothing the pain and inflammation in your injury.

Feel the light repairing your damaged tissues and rebuilding them stronger than before.

Visualize your injury becoming smaller.

See the swelling going down and the pain subsiding.

See the scar tissue becoming softer.

And as you hold your attention on your injury,

Repeat the following affirmations,

Either silently to yourself or out loud.

My body knows how to heal itself and it is doing so with every breath.

I trust in the healing power within me.

I am nurturing my body back to health.

My injury is temporary and I am getting stronger every day.

Feel the power of these affirmations resonating within you.

Let them instill a deep sense of confidence and trust in your body's ability to heal.

Let these positive statements become a mantra that guides you along your path to recovery.

And as the healing light continues to bathe your injury,

Imagine it soothing any inflammation or discomfort,

Promoting cellular regeneration and restoring balance to any of your affected tissues.

Allow yourself to fully embrace the healing energy,

Knowing that it is working in harmony with your body's own innate wisdom.

And as you focus on the healing process,

Let go of any negative thoughts or emotions that may arise.

Instead,

Replace them with thoughts of gratitude for the progress you have made and the resilience of your body.

Allow these feelings of gratitude to wash over you,

Infusing your mind and body with positivity.

And as we transition out of this healing meditation,

Take a moment to express gratitude for your body and its remarkable ability to heal.

Acknowledge the progress you have already made on your healing journey,

No matter how small it may seem.

And begin to bring your awareness back to the present moment,

Gently wiggling your fingers and your toes,

Slowly reawakening your body.

And take a few deep breaths,

Filling your lungs with fresh energy.

And exhale,

Releasing any remaining tension or discomfort.

When you feel ready,

You can slowly open your eyes and remember to carry with you a sense of confidence and trust in your body's innate healing abilities.

Allow this positive energy to guide you as you continue on your path to full recovery.

Healing is a process and your body is working diligently to restore itself.

Be patient and gentle with yourself,

Knowing that you are supported and surrounded by a healing energy.

And take this moment to acknowledge the strength and resilience within you.

And as you move forward on your healing journey,

Embrace the infinite potential for wellness that lies within your body.

I found the teacher’s voice pleasant. I have fibromyalgia which means most of my body is uncomfortable so I visualized the healing light through out my whole body. Thank you for offering this.
