This is to help you improve confidence and self-esteem.

Don't listen to this while doing anything that requires your full attention.

Before you begin,

Find a quiet and comfortable place where you won't be disturbed.

Sit or lie down and close your eyes and take a slow,

Deep breath to relax.

And as you listen to this,

Imagine and feel the positive changes taking place within you.

And as you take a deep breath,

All the way down through the lungs to the tummy,

And exhaling slowly,

Let go of any tension or stress,

Allowing your body to relax.

Deeper with every breath that you take,

Imagine a warm and comforting light surrounding you,

Creating a sense of peace and security.

And as you relax deeper and deeper with every breath that you take,

Letting go of any tensions or stresses of the day,

Or the week,

Or the month,

Or the year.

Just letting go.

And now imagine a staircase in front of you.

This staircase has 10 steps,

And you're at the top.

And in a moment as you walk down the staircase,

You'll become deeper and deeper relaxed,

And more full of confidence and self-assuredness.

And you can begin now with the 10th step.

You take the first step,

And with it,

You feel a wave of relaxation wash over you.

You're completely safe,

And your confidence is growing.

With this step,

You feel your self-esteem increasing.

You're unique and capable,

And you can discover your own self-worth.

As you descend further,

Imagining a warm and golden light enveloping you,

Filling you with a self-assurance and an inner strength.

You continue to relax,

Letting go of any doubts or any insecurities,

Any limiting beliefs you can leave behind now.

You're becoming more and more confident in your abilities and yourself.

Almost halfway down the staircase now.

And you can feel your self-esteem growing with each step that you take.

You are a valuable and competent and caring person.

You deserve to feel good and confident,

No matter what's happened before this moment,

In this breath.

As you step down to step 5,

Begin to visualise all of the positive qualities and achievements that make you proud in yourself,

Your incredible mind,

Bringing these memories forward in that vast library of your incredible brain.

All of your positive qualities and experiences,

Achievements and values,

Filling you with a sense of deep,

Deep self-worth.

You're moving deeper into relaxation and self-confidence.

Imagine a powerful aura of self-assurance surrounding you,

Making you invincible to self-doubt.

Stronger and stronger with every moment.

Resilient and strong.

You deserve to feel good now.

Feel your confidence and self-esteem continuing to grow.

Notice in your body where you feel that,

Like a glow,

Like an energy,

Like an aura that flows around and through your body.

Embrace this new sense of self-worth,

Confidence and self-assurance.

And 1.

You've reached the final step and you're now filled with an unshakable confidence and self-esteem.

You're ready to face the world with a strong and positive mindset,

Able to achieve your goals as you step into that version of you you wish to be,

Perhaps with an upcoming challenge,

That you can be who you choose to be,

Enjoying a new feeling of confidence and self-esteem.

And know that you can return to this place of inner strength and confidence whenever you need it.

You're capable,

Valuable and you deserve success and happiness.

You're strong and confident.

And in your mind,

I want you to repeat these words whenever you can.

In a moment,

I'll count from 1 to 5.

When I reach 5,

You'll be fully awake,
