Through this meditation,
We will explore the Heart Chakra,
Renewing green in color,
Your center of love.
Find a comfortable seat on the floor or in a chair or lie down.
Align yourself so you feel connected with what's underneath you and at ease in your body.
Place your hand right on the middle of your chest.
Imagine a tender,
Verdant green color in this part of your body.
Take a deep breath in and a long breath out.
Listen to these words as I speak them.
Let them roll through your mind effortlessly.
I am loved.
I am open.
I am emotionally aware.
I care for myself in order to care for others.
I am compassionate.
I can forgive myself.
I feel loving actions in giving and receiving.
Now listen to the sounds of loving awareness.

Take a moment to feel into one thing you are deeply grateful for.
Loving is too insignificant to name here if it connects you with the feeling of love.
Your pets.
Your favorite jumper.
Your truest friend.
Your warm bed.
Your grandmother.
Watching flowers blossom in the spring.
The vast blue sky.
Your sister.
Your brother.
Your father.
Your mother.
The nourishing food you eat.
The way sand feels between your toes.
The fact that you are here listening to this meditation.
This time is worthwhile being grateful for.
Allow yourself to feel grateful for being you and living this life that has been gifted to you.
Learning to love you with all your misgivings and failings.
With all your perceived flaws and unkind thoughts.
It will be tough at times.
Sometimes it will feel impossible.
But you are not in a rush.
You have a lifetime to learn to love you if that's what it takes.
Don't stop seeking self-love.
This life is yours to live and to love.
Pick it up with both hands and hold this precious life close to your heart.
I live from my heart.
I am kind.
I am emotionally aware.
I accept myself just as I am.
I can love freely.
