A meditation for creating inner safety which begins with a gentle intention setting and easy breathing which builds into a powerful grounding process and closes with affirmations meant to be experienced fully.

As you ease yourself into your space,

I'll just invite you to just set an intention for this practice.

It's an intention that kind of accelerates what we are looking to experience.

So your intention can be for healing,

It can be for creating inner safety,

It can be for self-love,

Whatever that may be.

You can just call that forward now.

And this is going to be fun.

So just allow yourself to just drop into your space and we'll begin.

You can start by deepening your own breath.

And as you breathe in,

Feel each breath moving through the nose all the way down into the hips,

Into the buttocks,

Into the groin.

And just take a few breaths into the space.

Of course,

Maintaining your focus here,

But also allowing yourself to maintain a relaxed focus.

Filling up this area with light.

Noticing that if you breathe into this area,

If there's any discomfort.

Good to go.

And for this practice today,

We just want to ensure that we're not placing any pressure on ourselves to have the answers,

To have things figured out.

This is just meant to be an easeful space where all parts of ourselves can feel safe to exist.

And so in this moment,

I'll just invite you to take a moment to turn to your mind and just take a few acknowledging breaths into the mind.

And these acknowledging breaths are almost an invitation for the mind to just relax.

It's an invitation for the mind to just focus on the healing energy that you'll be receiving during this meditation.

And that any moment if the mind comes in,

Chimes in,

Gets distracted,

Just give yourself a moment to regain composure and to just come back to the breath,

To this moment,

To this space.

There's no need to be hard on yourself right now.

And so in this moment,

I just invite you to imagine bringing your focus,

Your attention back into the tailbone.

And I just invite you to take three deep breaths into the tailbone.

And as you reach that third breath,

I just invite you to imagine from the tailbone opens up like a camera lens and shoots out this long red and gold,

Almost sparkling grounding cord that anchors down into the seat beneath you,

Moves down into the ground,

Down through each layer of the earth,

All the way into the center of the earth.

And it plugs in to the crystalline core of the earth.

Give yourself a moment to visualize this,

To feel this.

And as you feel yourself connected to the earth in this moment,

Just allow for Mama Earth to just hold you.

She's saying in this moment that you don't have to hold yourself up right now.

You can let the belly relax.

You can let the hips relax.

You can let the shoulders relax.

And so as you rest in this space of you,

This unconditional support,

Love holding,

The safety to just be all you are in this moment.

And Mama Earth is just wanting to transfer up some of her beautiful red and golden energy from the core of the earth.

And so this starts to come up your grounding cord.

And so just set the intention to just open yourself up to receiving this gift,

This new energy from Mother Earth.

Allow yourself to feel that moving through the tailbone into the lower body,

Into the lower belly,

The sexual organs,

Into the navel,

Organs beneath the navel.

Let it take its natural course,

But as it's ready,

Allow that energy to move up into the chest,

Into the arms and throat,

Into the head,

Behind the eyes,

Between the ears.

Until you are just immersed in this earth energy.

And give yourself some space just to breathe in and out as you bask in this energy.

And as Mother Earth transfers this energy up into your bodily system,

Are there any messages that she's just wanting you to know at this time?

Any that comes in a thought,

A feeling,

A sensation?

Just allow yourself to be with whatever comes up as you continue to just receive that earth energy.

And as we close this meditation today,

I just invite you to know you can reconnect to this grounding energy,

This connection to Mother Earth at any time.

And as we close,

What we'll do is we'll just close with some affirmations to move through the day,

To feel safe through the day.

So if it feels right,

I'll invite you to just place a hand either on your heart or you can place your hands in prayer position,

Whatever feels right for you.

Just take a couple of easy breaths at your natural rhythm and allow your mind,

Your subconscious,

Your body,

Your energy to just open to the vibration of some of the words I'll be sharing with you.

May I move through today with ease and grace.

May I move through today with ease and grace.

May I be unconditionally supportive of myself today.

May I be unconditionally supportive of myself today.

If I am thrown off course,

May I bring myself back to my body.

If I am thrown off course today,

May I bring myself back to my body.

May I start to create the feeling today that I am deeply safe in my body.

May I start to create the feeling today that I am deeply safe in my body.

It is safe for me to feel.

It is safe for me to feel.

I am grateful for this life,

For this body,

For this experience.

I am grateful for this life,

For this body,

For this experience.

The universe is unconditionally supporting me.

The universe is unconditionally supporting me.

And from here,

I'll invite you to just take a deep breath in into the lower body,

Into the entire body.

Hold that breath at the top.

Feel that stillness there.

And slowly breathe out.

Now I'll invite you to do that two more times.

And as you finish that last breath,

Your meditation will be complete.
