In this meditation,
We'll be making some space for self love.
Finding a comfortable position.
It can be lying down,
Seated.
Whatever feels comfortable for you.
And in whatever position you are in.
Bring your awareness to the points of contact you have with the surface beneath you.
Noticing the support.
The grounding.
And if it feels okay for you,
You can gently close the eyes or lower the gaze.
Drawing the awareness to your breath noticing the flow.
And the pace of the breath at the moment.
Without judgement.
Without the need to fix anything.
Without thinking that the breath has to be a certain way.
But just noticing the state of the breath at this moment.
And if it feels comfortable for you,
You can place one hand on your heart,
The other hand on your belly.
And notice the breath as you have your hands.
In these places.
Noticing the rise and the fall of the chest and the belly.
I know sometimes it may be difficult to show ourselves love and kindness.
Maybe we feel like we're not doing enough.
We're not good enough.
Not capable enough.
Noticing what's coming up for you at the moment.
And it's so normal to feel these feelings,
These beliefs.
And if self-love may be challenging at the moment.
See if you can bring a little bit of softening to the thoughts in the mind.
Knowing that you're just human,
You're just trying your best And maybe that's all that takes.
Maybe that's enough.
And as you breathe here,
As you feel into the body,
Bring awareness to what's happening.
Self-love comes with acceptance and sometimes it is tough to have that acceptance But just know that you're trying your best.
Notice what may be coming up for you at the moment.
Maybe it's a body sensation.
Maybe it's an emotion.
Maybe it's a memory.
As we come to the end of this meditation.
I'll invite you to take a deep inhale in.
And exhale anything that doesn't serve you anymore,
Letting go.
Let's do this two more times.
Inhaling energy.
Exhaling anything that doesn't serve you,
Sighing it out,
Letting go.
One last one.
Your biggest breath in.
And exhale sigh it out let it all out let it go Coming back to a normal breath.
Taking note of how your body feels right now.
Maybe a sense of lightness,
Spaciousness,
Openness.
On your own time,
I'll invite you to bring movement into your fingertips and your toes.
Taking a full body stretch if that feels comfortable for you.
And then when the time is right,
Gently opening the eyes.
Thank you so much for listening to this meditation,
And I hope you have a great day ahead.
