This is a guided self-love meditation practice to reconnect with yourself,
Reconnect with your heart,
And to just be.
Begin by finding a quiet comfortable space,
Sitting down or lying down.
Close your eyes or lower your gaze and let your hands rest gently,
Maybe one hand over your heart,
One hand on your belly.
Start by taking a long slow breath in through your nose and a gentle breath out through your mouth,
Allowing the body to soften,
To let the weight of the body soften into whatever is grounding you,
The floor,
The mat,
The bed.
Take a deep inhale again,
Feeling your belly rise.
As you exhale,
Feeling the pressure soften down,
Exhaling any heaviness,
Any tension,
Allowing yourself to arrive into this moment.
Nothing to fix,
Nothing to do,
Nothing to prove.
This time is just for you.
Now bring your awareness to your body.
Notice any places that feel tight,
Heavy,
Or tired.
Without judgment,
Just notice.
Now imagine breathing warmth and love into those places,
Like sunlight touching cold skin.
Soft,
Gentle,
Patient.
With each breath,
Send kindness into your body.
Notice how kindness feels like.
Maybe it's a softening,
Maybe it's easing off.
Whatever kindness feels to you,
Notice how it can manifest into the body,
Into a feeling.
Taking a deep inhale in,
And as you exhale,
Exhaling out anything you don't want to hold on to anymore.
Anything that doesn't resonate with you,
Any thoughts,
Any feelings.
Allowing love,
Kindness,
And compassion to rush through each and every cell in the body.
So often we are our harshest critics.
We judge ourselves,
We get hard on ourselves.
And I want this meditation to allow you the space to soften,
To invite self-compassion,
To invite healing,
To change the inner voice.
Letting that inner voice become your friend,
Not a critic.
Now bring both hands to your heart if they aren't there already.
Feel the warmth beneath the palms,
Touching the chest,
Feeling the gentle rhythm of the heartbeat.
Now imagine a soft glowing light expanding out from the heart.
A white light radiating bright,
Filling your chest,
Your shoulders,
Your arms.
Spreading through the whole body,
Down the legs,
To the toes,
Up the chest,
All the way up to the crown of the head.
A quiet reminder that says I am loved,
I am loved.
Stay in this feeling,
Staying here for a few more breaths.
Take one final full breath in and a long slow deep breath out.
As you begin to return to the room,
Know that this feeling of love lives within you.
Always available,
Always enough.
When you're ready,
Gently open the eyes,
Wiggle the fingertips and the toes.
We have come to the end of this self-love meditation.
And I hope that this meditation allows you to carry this feeling of love into whatever comes next for you,
With gentleness,
With grace and with ease.
