Today for this meditation,
We'll be working on giving space In the busy lives that we all live,
I feel that it's really important to talk about this concept of giving space.
And giving space doesn't mean hours and hours of time wasted.
It means intentional time to go from one place to another.
It means giving yourself space to recalibrate.
It means giving yourself space and time to think things through instead of rushing through things.
And there's so many other situations or contexts I could apply this to.
But for today,
Let's look at giving ourselves space within these moments.
Right now,
You are giving yourself space.
There was something you did before this.
And there was something,
There is something that you're gonna be doing after this And so treat this time as a way to give yourself some space between two things.
And notice the valuable impact it can bring you.
Finding a safe space,
A comfortable seat.
Keeping the spine tall.
Maybe the feet are flat on the floor.
And just notice the points of grounding.
The support beneath you.
Notice the feeling in your body Notice the breath.
Notice the mind Now if you haven't already,
You can close the eyes or lower the gaze.
Tuning inward.
And as you notice the body,
The breath,
And the mind.
See how they all interlink?
These three parts of us always working together.
Connecting different parts to each other.
The mind informing the body and the breath.
The body speaking to the mind via sensation.
The breath changing based on how the mind responds,
How the body feels.
They're all working together to inform each other.
So as you notice,
Perhaps noticing,
The body as it is at the moment.
Placing your attention on the breath.
Placing your attention on the mind Now just noticing these three parts of you.
The next few moments are a time for you to have this space.
To notice what you might need at the moment.
Whether it's some space to feel the body.
Whether it's some space to feel into the thoughts.
Or whether it's space to just notice the breath.
The time is yours.
Wherever you are.
I'll invite you to breathe in and breathe out Breathe in.
And breathe out.
Last breath in.
And breathe out keeping the eyes soft.
The jaw unclenched.
Start to bring movement into the fingertips and the toes.
And then slowly opening the eyes,
Coming back to the space you were in.
Thank you so much for listening to this meditation and I wish you a great day ahead.
