Welcome beautiful community today we're going to talk about that new moon in Virgo.
As always,
I'm referring to Yasmin Boland because I feel like she has this down pact in this moonology diary that I am addicted to.
So she says this new moon is buzzing with potential.
All sorts of good news.
For starters,
Think about where you want to make changes in your life.
New ideas and methods can be implemented with more ease than usual,
Particularly in areas related to your daily routines,
Work,
And health.
Alright friends,
This is good news for me.
I had an interesting weekend with my family.
Always love spending time with my grandkids,
But I'll admit.
.
.
Age four can be challenging and I was trying to figure out how in the future we could go on vacation together with a little less stress.
So I think that I probably over was overthinking it actually.
And I finally said to myself,
Relax,
It'll happen.
You don't have to push so hard,
Right?
So that's what I feel like this new moon is telling me to do.
Don't push so hard.
Just kind of let things happen.
According to Yasmin,
The energy is ripe for transformative communication,
Allowing for deep,
Meaningful conversations that could shift your perspective or even lead to a powerful change in your relationship or your career.
That right there is good news.
I've also been having some amazing,
Deep conversations with my husband,
Who is normally not a deep conversation kind of a person.
So I'm definitely feeling that energy.
Yasmin says,
Expect some breakthroughs in organization.
Uranus-Mercury in the new moon mix can bring sudden insights,
Helping you streamline your life,
Your processes,
And your conversations.
All right,
All good news.
This is also a new moon replete with healing and renewal energy,
As Pluto's depth encourages us to let go of old wounds,
Particularly those tied to self-criticism.
Found myself criticizing myself a lot this past weekend.
Was I doing things right?
Was I being a good grandma?
Was I not entertaining them enough?
Was I not patient enough?
So yeah,
I'm ready to let go of some of that self-criticism.
By the way,
If any of you listening are grandparents and you have any tips,
Send them my way.
I have a one-year-old granddaughter and a four-year-old grandson and anyone who knows me knows I adore them,
Love spending time with them.
But I'm not a morning person.
My grandson gets up at 6.
30 when we're on vacation every day.
And he proceeds to make a lot of noise.
And you know,
When we were kids,
We weren't allowed to do that.
There's definitely a different style of parenting these days.
And I find myself conflicted.
I don't know.
I like the gentle stuff.
But I'm like,
What do you do when they get out of control and they don't respond?
Have any tips?
Please send them my way.
Alright,
So with the all-important Neptune-Pluto alignment in the same week as the new moon,
We'll all be in a position to test our spiritual powers.
That sounds good right there.
Perhaps the first step is to change your mindset about something.
Okay,
That's definitely something I'm working on.
The new moon also has a very helpful energy to it.
So if you feel like you're currently cruising through life with almost no issues,
Set an intention under the new moon see who in your life needs a helping hand and give it.
I find that kind of beautiful.
I think I've got a fabulous life.
And again,
The issues I'm talking about are so small in comparison to what other people are going through right now,
Right?
And I have to stop myself.
I tend to minimize my stuff and act like I'm not that important.
That's not true.
All right,
So three good things according to Yasmin.
Here's a simple yet powerful exercise to help you shift your mindset.
It's called three good things and is attributed to the man known as the father of positive psychology,
Martin Seligman.
Each evening before bed for one month,
One more if you want,
Take a few minutes to reflect on your day and write down three good things that happened.
This is a beautiful practice that I used to do and I think this is my little push to start doing that again.
They can be big or small,
Anything that made you feel good or grateful.
Then reflect on why each of these good things happened.
This practice trains your brain to focus on the positive aspects of life.
I love that.
Let's make a deal right now.
Let's do this for the month.
I'm gonna give you our three journaling prompts which for the new moon are usually the same and my favorite prompts My current biggest most audacious goal wish or intention is and you fill in the blank.
I know what mine is Now turn that into an affirmation write it down as if it's already happened and keep repeating that until the full moon The next thing you might want to do is jot down your action steps.
What are you gonna do in the next 24 hours?
In the coming week,
In the month ahead.
All right friends,
Let's listen to Blossom Violet's beautiful piano music.
And let's start journaling.
Alright my friends,
I hope you enjoyed that beautiful music and I hope that you had a lot of great thoughts in your journal.
Personally,
I would love to hear of them.
If you want to share them in the comments with me,
If you want to send me a private note,
I always love hearing what other people write about in their journal,
Probably because it gives me things to think about as well.
I always say that being here is as healing for me as it is for everyone else,
And that's a huge part of why I do this.
So friends,
I hope that the new moon wishes and intentions you have are going to bring some amazing energy and amazing things into your life,
And I hope that you continue you shining like the beautiful,
Bright diamond that you are.
Until next time.
