Hello,
Beautiful Insight Timer community.
Welcome to day nine of our 30 days of journaling.
Today I was inspired to pull an Oracle card from the Sacred Traveler Oracle by Denise Lin because another Insight Timer teacher who I was listening to reminded me of a dream I had to return,
Have to return to Big Sur.
I haven't been there since 2008,
Which was 15 years ago.
And I keep saying I want to go back there with the family and she suggested that I start writing these things down and mapping it out and I thought what a great idea.
And then I thought for my journaling practice,
The Sacred Traveler is perfect.
So the card I pulled was the Wandering Path,
Enjoy the journey.
So I opened up the book and of course I had to read my card meaning.
It says,
You don't always need to know where you're going,
Except the fact that sometimes the path in life is circulous and meandering.
Yet know that you're always exactly where you need to be,
Even if it doesn't seem like it.
Be present with your journey,
Embrace everything that you encounter on the path.
It's all for your highest good.
Accept what is,
This is the key to inner power.
The Sacred Traveler wants you to know when you're traveling,
You are in the present moment.
A mystic traveler has no specific goals for the future and is not focused upon the destination.
Everything is fresh and new.
At times it's difficult to accept everything that occurs on the road of life,
Especially if the road seems to twist and turn in unexpected ways.
It's an act of courage and faith to accept what is without judgment or dismay and to keep going.
Trust that there is a plan for your life and it's unfolding perfectly.
Have faith that you're on the road that you're meant to travel on.
Accepting what is doesn't mean you can't work to change it,
Because you can.
However,
This card does suggest that every experience is supporting you for your highest good and your spiritual evolution.
If there's something you can't accept,
Start by gently accepting the fact that you can't accept it.
Allowing for your own wandering path is the key to grace and peace in your life.
I love that card.
I think I've definitely led a life where I kind of meander from one thing to the next and I haven't always known where I'm going,
But I've always arrived at a great place.
So I'm definitely going to use this for my journaling.
I'm going to set five minutes on the clock.
Let's get those journals out.
Let's start writing.
Where are we meandering?
Where are we headed?
Where do we need to go?
What do we need to know?
Okay,
Friends,
We'll be back in five minutes.
Okay,
Friends,
So that was five minutes on the clock.
I hope this prompter gave you some good insights because it definitely gave me a lot to think about and it's given me some really good insights on some of the things I need to sort of take care of right now and some of the things that I really need to let go.
So we will be back tomorrow with day 10 and we will be a third of our way through our 30 days of journaling.
So I'm looking forward to that.
Until then,
Take care.
