This is bliss,
Grounding meditation.
Start to find a comfortable place that's safe and secure where you won't be disturbed.
Settle in,
Surround yourself with loving things,
Cushions,
Blankets.
Sit or lie for this grounded meditation.
And as you start to get comfortable,
Start by taking a few really long slow deep breaths in.
Breathing in and breathing out.
Breathing in and breathing out.
Take a really long deep breath in,
Right down to the belly.
And a really long slow exhale out.
Exhaling all the air right down to the very end before we start to breathe in again.
Allowing the body to relax.
Allow the mind to be still as you focus on your breath.
And you bring your awareness to your breathing.
As you breathe in and as you breathe out slowly and deeply.
Ensure the breath is smooth,
Calming and deeply relaxing.
Breathing in right down to the belly.
Allowing the belly to fill up like a balloon.
And exhaling and feeling the belly contract and fall as we exhale all the air back out.
I want you to bring your full attention and awareness now to your feet.
Feeling it into any sensations,
Any tingling,
Any throbbing.
Do they feel hot?
Do they feel cold?
Bring all your attention down now to your feet.
And if the feet are on the floor,
I want you to imagine any tingling.
There's some roots that are coming out of the bottom of your feet.
You can feel your toes,
The sole of the foot and the ball of the foot.
And these roots start to come out of the bottom of the feet into the ground.
Feeling into the grass which is cool and damp.
Feel the roots bury deep into the mud as they pass rocks and stones.
Those roots are digging deeper and further down into the ground.
Through all the layers of the earth,
Through sand and clay,
Heavy rock,
Crystal.
You can feel all those roots burying deeper and deeper into the ground.
Breathing in and breathing out.
And just as you get down into the depths of the earth,
There's a clear opening.
And this opening is an underground stream.
And as the earth opens up and allows the roots to go down into the stream,
I want you to think about any worries or any fears that you can now release and let go into the stream,
Into the earth.
Let anything that you no longer need be recycled.
With your breath,
Breathing in.
Think of something that you might have been holding on to.
And with the exhale,
Allowing that fear,
Worry,
Toxins in the body to be released on the exhale down out into the roots.
And as you breathe in,
Seeing if you can remember anything from past events that you might have held on to,
That you no longer need.
And as you breathe out,
You take anything down into those roots,
Through the layers of the earth and down into the stream,
To let anything be washed away.
Feel those roots pulsating,
All your fears and troubles and worries.
Feeling lighter.
Feel as if everything's letting go.
Allow yourself to go deeper into relaxation as we relax into this moment.
And allow anything that we no longer need to go into the earth.
Feel those roots in the stream that's cool,
Crystal like.
And allow that earth energy to come up now through those roots,
Healing any part of you through the body and mind.
Let those roots sponge up that water,
Pulsating up through your feet,
Through your toes,
Through your ankles.
Let that water nourish each and every cell as it comes up through the legs and knees,
Into the hips,
Into all the internal organs,
Allowing everything to be brighter and vibrant,
Healthy,
As that water now travels up through the diaphragm,
Into the chest,
Through the lungs,
The ribs,
Into the heart.
Let those roots keep pulsating that water right through the earth into you.
Allow that water up now into the throat,
Clearing away any blockages,
Healing all your cells,
Your skin,
Your tissue,
Your bones.
Feel that water trickle down your shoulders,
Into your arms,
Your hands and your fingers.
You feel that water through the spine,
Feeling stronger,
Feeling more alive and energised.
And allow that water to come up through the back of the head,
Through the scalp,
The skull,
Across the whole face,
The whole body,
Pulsating with this water,
The roots,
Pulsating.
And when you feel completely nourished,
Allow those roots now to come back up from the stream in the earth,
Back up through all the layers of the planet,
Through crystal and rock,
Sand and clay,
Rich minerals feeding into the body.
Coming up now through mud and grass and feeling into the feet as the roots slowly come back.
Take a really deep breath in here.
Allow the air to fill the chest and the belly.
Allow yourself to be completely rested and rejuvenated and grounded.
Breathing in and breathing out.
Start to come back into the room,
Wriggling your fingers and toes.
And when you're ready,
Open your eyes.
