Sending energy and support to the team.
This meditation is to acknowledge that it's not just about you at work,
It's also about those who work with you.
Whether you like it or not,
You are affected by those around you and in turn they are affected by you.
The mood,
The quality of energy,
The attitudes brought to the office ripple out to each person sharing the space.
And in listening to this meditation you have made a decision that you choose to be a beacon of light within that space.
And so begin by affirming that you choose to be here in this space.
Affirm that you choose to show up,
Pay attention and offer only positive energy this day.
Close your eyes and take a breath.
And then another.
And one more slow and easy.
In and out.
In and out.
In the next few breaths,
Focus on your body and begin to notice any place that might feel sore or tense or tight.
Send your breath to first one area and then continuing until each part of your sore tense or tight body have been given a breath of attention.
Now simply observe your thoughts.
Notice if you are staying present with the meditation or if you are moving out of the now.
And either way gently continue to breathe and breathe again.
Bring your thoughts back to your breath easily.
No struggle.
This one breath.
And now begin to imagine your co-workers,
Your teammates.
See them and the office space in your mind's eye.
In your next few breaths,
Imagine sending them the following mantras.
In this space,
We bring each other energy and support to have our best day.
In this space,
We affirm our best efforts.
In this space,
We trust we have our best interests at heart.
In this space,
We are the best version of team.
In this space,
We thrive.
Breathing in and breathing out,
Continue to send beams of light towards the team.
If you are aware of specific tensions in your team,
Send even more concentrated warmth in this direction.
Be aware of any biases you may carry and vow to set those aside at this moment.
Simply follow your affirmation of supportive action and continue to breathe and send the power of support.
Imagine how this feels to each one of your team members,
The warmth of true caring.
Take the next few breaths to be sure and send the same beams of light to you.
Accept this gift with gratitude.

As the meditation comes to a close,
Take a breath and vow to bring this practice with you as you go about your day.
Even in times of dissension,
Continue to send this positive vibe to the team.
