This integrative wisdom meditation is for after the fact and a way to move forward.

This is for those times when we have stepped up to the plate,

Done all we can do,

And it's now time to turn it over,

Turn it over to the powers that be,

That higher power,

Releasing all notions of control and resting in the belief that all will be well,

That all will be well.

Let us begin.

In times of trouble,

Those difficult times,

When understanding,

Tolerance,

And good will seem impossible to find,

We take steps to change things and we try our best.

And as we recognize this,

We also recognize there comes a time to set down our burden,

To allow our body,

Mind,

Spirit,

And soul to rest,

To find relief in an open space of enough.

And so let us stop.

Let us set it all down.

Breathing in,

Breathing out,

In and out.

Gentle and easy.

We soften our muscles,

Unclench our fists,

Our fingers,

Our jaw,

Allowing for an expanse of light and ease to trickle down,

Cascade down our bodies,

Loosening all the tense,

Sore,

Troubled places.

We breathe in and out,

In and out.

In this opening,

We take any thoughts,

Judgments,

Or emotions and set them outside of this healing space.

It is time for our minds to rest,

To know and honor all the work that was done in the name of what has heart and meaning to us.

Breathing in and breathing out.

We choose to release the outcome during this meditation.

For now,

We honor our efforts.

We allow an opening of our hearts,

A tenderness toward this one who truly cares and who envisions a better world for all.

We recognize it does no one any good to harm ourselves with excessive stress,

Anger,

Frustration,

Sorrow or any other intensely painful emotional states.

Therefore,

We choose now to give these precious bodies,

Minds,

And spirits a moment of expansiveness,

Of healing light and intention.

Notice the light cascading down all those sore,

Tense,

Tight places,

Allowing yourself to simply bask in these moments.

We choose these moments knowing we can start again tomorrow,

Pick up the mantle of our cause and begin again.

But we bask in these few moments of calm,

Healing energy and healing light.

We deserve this.

We smile and we rest.

We allow for a recalibration,

A reset.

And in these moments,

Our beingness shines and we feel the love and the light from all that surrounds us.
