Hello!
Welcome to this meditation to call your energy back.
I invite you to find a comfortable position where you can either sit or lie down comfortably.
Turn your phone to airplane mode and come into this present moment.
We'll begin with some progressive muscle relaxation to relax the body and allow a more meditative state.
To begin,
Scrunch all of the muscles in your face really tight and then release.
Moving to the shoulders,
Scrunch your shoulders up to your ears,
Tensing all the muscles in your face at the same time and release and relax.
Tense all the muscles in your arms,
Bringing your hands into fists,
Holding tightly and release.
Curl your toes into the bottoms of your feet,
Tense your calf muscles,
Your quads,
Hold the tension and release.
Allow your body to completely relax and sink into the surface that's supporting it.
Coming into this present moment,
Take three deep breaths in through the nose and out through the mouth,
In through the nose and out through the mouth.
Inhaling through the nose,
Let your belly expand and exhale through the mouth.
Allow your breathing to come back to normal and you can place your hands on your knees,
Palms up or down,
Whatever is more comfortable for you.
Or if you're lying down,
Just placing the hands beside yourself and begin to sense and feel the outer limits of your body,
Your physical body,
The outside of your skin.
See if you can feel your scalp,
Notice the skin around your neck,
Chest,
Arms,
Hands,
Belly,
Back,
Hips,
Legs and feet.
Now each one of us has an electromagnetic field around our body which we can also sense.
It's very subtle but see if you can bring your awareness a few inches outside of your body and sense your electromagnetic field.
It's a very subtle pulsating energy.
Just relax and allow any sensations to happen and if you don't feel anything right away that's okay too.
So every time we interact with someone we are exchanging energy and every single one of us has a unique energy signature and when we come together and we converse or even when we get on a zoom call we exchange energy with our fellow humans.
One thing that's not really talked about in the mainstream is what I like to call energetic hygiene and this is just clearing any energetic residue from your field and your body and it's really easy to do with this visualization that I'm going to lead you through.
So I want you to think about all of the interactions that you've had in the last day,
Couple of days,
Maybe in the last week or the last month.
Think about all of those people from your loved ones and your friends to the grocery clerks to the strangers on the sidewalk who you make eye contact with and see,
Sense or feel the energetic cords that connect you to all of these people.
Some of them may be thin and faint,
Others might be thicker and stronger connections but you can see that you are connected to all of these people.
Now see yourself reaching out a hand in your mind and disconnecting one of the cords from the other person and watch as the cord retracts back into your own electromagnetic field,
Your own energy field and back into your own body.
Notice how it feels.
Try with another one.
Disconnecting with love and bringing the cord back into your own body and keep doing this until all of your cords have been retracted saying thank you for the interactions,
Thank you for the lessons and when you've successfully disconnected from the people in your sphere,
Take all of those cords and send them out into the center of our universe.
You can envision sending it to the brightest ball of white light in the middle of the universe.
This is the center of all of life and the center of all of the life force that we can all tap into at any time.
Send all of your cords into this bright ball of white pure light and allow that white pure light to filter down through the cords,
Down into your body,
Replenishing you,
Cleansing you,
Washing away any debris and bringing your entire system into balance,
Letting it calm you and comfort you and energize you.
This is how you take your power back and take your energy back by disconnecting with love from all of the interactions that you have and reconnecting to the source,
Whatever you want to call it,
The most pure light and energy in the universe.
And so it is.
When you're ready,
You can open your eyes,
Gently flickering them open while remaining still,
Coming back into the room and just notice how different your body feels.
Now come back to this practice anytime you like.
I do this one often just to recalibrate after a big busy day,
