Let's find a comfortable position,

Either sitting with your feet on the ground or lying down with your body fully supported.

Close your eyes and take a deep breath in,

And a slow,

Steady exhale out.

Let yourself fully arrive here,

Right now,

In this moment.

Feel the weight of your body as it settles.

Notice the support beneath you,

Around you,

The ground,

Your seat,

The earth herself holding you effortlessly.

With each breath,

Imagine roots growing from the base of your spine,

Reaching down into the earth,

Deeper and deeper through the layers of stone,

Soil,

Until they anchor you in something ancient,

Steady and unshakable.

Breathe in,

Feeling the energy of the earth rising through these roots.

Breathe out,

Releasing anything that makes you feel unstable or disconnected.

You are safe and so supported.

If thoughts arise,

Let them drift like leaves on a river,

No need to hold onto them.

Simply return to the sensation of being grounded,

Of belonging.

Now bring your awareness to your body.

Notice the steadiness in your legs,

The strength in your spine.

You are here.

You are whole.

Breathe in deep,

Filling yourself with a sense of security.

Breathe out,

Letting go of anything that is not yours to carry.

Feel the warmth of this stability surrounding you,

Wrapping you in peace.

You are unshaken by the winds of the world.

No matter what happens around you,

Your roots hold strong.

Take one more deep breath in,

And as you exhale,

Gently bring yourself back.

Wiggle your fingers and toes,

Feel the ground beneath you,

And when you're ready,

Open your eyes.

You are here.

You are home.
