The grace of becoming.

Begin by finding a comfortable position,

Sitting or lying down.

Close your eyes if that feels safe and allow yourself to take a deep nourishing breath in.

Slowly let it out,

Feeling your body soften and settle.

Take another deep breath in and as you exhale,

Imagine a gentle wave of light washing over you,

Releasing tension,

Expectation and the need to be finished.

Now picture yourself in a garden bathed in soft morning light.

Notice the colors around you,

The deep green of the leaves,

The rich brown in the soil and the tiny bits of color from flowers that are just beginning to bloom.

Some petals are fully open,

Showing their brilliance,

While others remain as buds,

Quietly holding their beauty for the right moment.

Allow yourself to feel wonder for every stage of growth,

Both seen and unseen.

Now let's shift your attention to a river flowing nearby.

See the sunlight dancing on its surface,

Sparkling like tiny stars.

Notice how the water moves around rocks and bends,

Shaping its own path,

Never forcing,

Never rushing,

Simply moving,

Becoming.

Imagine yourself as that river,

Flowing with gentle persistence,

Sometimes calm,

Sometimes rippling,

Always shaping the landscape of your life.

Now let's take a slow,

Deep breath in and as you exhale,

Imagine a color filling your chest,

Warm,

Soft and glowing,

Representing all the unfinished parts of yourself.

See this color gently expanding outward with each breath,

Embracing every idea,

Every dream,

Every feeling still unfolding.

Notice how it blends with the garden,

The river,

The sunlight,

A seamless part of the world around you.

Now visualize tiny seeds scattered in the soil at your feet.

Some are just starting to sprout,

Others barely visible beneath the earth.

With your attention,

Send them a sense of encouragement,

Love and patience.

Let's notice that like these seeds,

Your unfinished dreams and emotions are full of potential,

Waiting only for the right moment to flourish.

Take another deep breath in and exhale,

Imagining yourself lightly touching each petal,

Each leaf,

Each ripple in the river.

Begin to feel your connection to the world of becoming,

Of growing,

Of creating.

Every unfinished piece is not a flaw,

But a brushstroke in the masterpiece of your life.

Bring your awareness back into your body,

Feeling your heartbeat,

Steady and patient like the rhythm of the river,

Like the sun moving across the sky.

Allow a gentle curiosity to arise.

What would it feel like to live fully in process,

To embrace the beauty in the not yet and to notice the colors,

Textures and shapes of your own becoming.

Take one more deep breath in and as you exhale,

Imagine a soft glowing light surrounding you,

Carrying the garden,

The river and all your unfolding potential with you.

You are enough,

Even in the becoming,

Even in the unfinished,

Even in the not yet.

When you're ready,

Slowly open your eyes,

Carrying this sense of grace,

Creativity and patience unfolding into the rest of your day.
