S2E43 Collective Circuit: Making Sense Of The World Together
by Vanessa Naja
In this episode, I cover the Human Design Collective Circuit which is the energy of sharing what we’ve learned from the past, whether that’s our own or collective experience or what we’ve learned through the repeating patterns of logic. We share this in a way that will benefit the collective or humanity as a whole so we can evolve. I talk about what it means to have this energy and how it influences careers, relationships, and your impact on the world. Whether you have this circuitry defined in your chart or not, this episode is for you. I’ll explore how the environment and others in your life with activations in this circuit influence you and share insights on how to relate to those with a lot of this circuitry while honoring your own design.
Transcript
The Human Design Collective Circuit is the energy of sharing patterns and past experiences that influence humanity as a whole or the entire collective.
In today's episode,
I will cover what the circuit is,
How people with a lot of activations in this circuit impact others,
The emotional themes that are tied to this energy,
And how it can show up in business and relationships.
Whether or not you have collective circuitry in your chart,
You will be impacted by this energy,
Either through your own design or through the people who you come into contact with,
As well as planetary transit.
So this episode is for everyone,
Regardless of how your design is configured.
Welcome to Heart-Centered Human Design,
Emotional Intelligence and Conscious Business,
The show that empowers heart-centered entrepreneurs to use human design and emotional intelligence to create meaningful success,
Work-life balance,
And transform their passion and purpose into impact and prosperity.
So we're moving into the last part of the three major circuits in human design.
And circuitry is how the energy moves through your body graph,
Your unique design.
Anything in your body graph that is colored in is what is considered defined.
This is consistent energy,
This is your nature,
This is what you broadcast out into the world and you have access to it at all times throughout your entire life.
Anything that is not colored in in your chart is undefined.
And that means this energy is inconsistent for you.
This is what you pick up from other people,
What you learn through transits,
Through the environment,
And it is energy that shows up for you when you need it,
When you're following your strategy and authority.
It's just inconsistent.
And overall,
We have all parts of the chart available to us.
It's just that some parts are consistent for us and defined,
They are part of who we are and what we broadcast out.
The other parts are areas that we have potential to become incredibly wise about.
These are the undefined aspects of our chart that we learn about through others,
The transits and our environment.
So basically,
We are always impacted by all of the circuitry,
Whether we have it defined in our chart or not.
And so it's so important to understand how this works and also how your loved ones,
Your colleagues,
The people that you surround yourself with are configured so that you can learn through their energy in the parts of the chart that you do not have defined and that you also understand how you impact them through the defined areas of your chart.
The collective circuit is the last of the three major circuits in human design.
We've already covered the individual circuit as well as the tribal circuit.
And in the upcoming two episodes,
I'll break down the subcircuits of the collective circuit.
Now collective energy is the energy of sharing what we have learned from our past,
Whether that is our own experiences or what we've learned through the patterns of the past and the patterns of logic.
We share these experiences and patterns in a way that will benefit the collective as a whole in order to move forward into the future.
People that have a lot of collective circuitry defined in their chart really want to make a difference in the world for humanity as a whole.
They really have a desire to use their life to serve the greater good.
There are two subcircuits in the collective circuit.
We have the logic circuit,
And this one is very much focused on patterns that can be repeated to predict what may happen in the future when the pattern repeats.
And the abstract circuit focuses on our past experiences,
The stories of our lives,
What we have learned through experiences and making sense of those experiences and sharing what we've learned.
Unlike the tribal circuit,
Which is more about your family,
Your loved ones,
Your colleagues,
Your communities,
Or the individual circuit,
Which is very much about uniqueness and being your unique individual self,
The collective circuit is more about the big picture and the greater good.
And this energy is not personal.
It's very much about what benefits humanity as a whole.
The collective circuit encompasses the inspiration of the head center,
The conceptualization of the Ajna center,
The communication and action of the throat center,
The survival instinct of the spleen center,
The emotional intelligence of the solar plexus center,
The love and direction of the G center,
The drive and stamina of the root center,
And the life force energy resource of the sacral center.
The only center that the collective circuit does not touch is the ego or willpower center,
Which is primarily tribal and a little bit individual.
So the main themes of the circuit are the big picture thinking.
It's not so much about each individual,
But it's more about the impact made on society and evolution for the whole.
This is about sharing and contribution.
It is about offering wisdom that has been learned either through past experiences or through logic in order to create a positive impact that moves humanity as a whole forward into the future.
There is progress in learning here,
Either through patterns and logic or through storytelling,
Which lives in the abstract.
And this is a little bit of push-pull of the future versus the past because the logic side of the collective circuit is very much focusing on what the future will look like based on logical patterns,
Whereas the abstract side processes what has already happened in the past and the experiences that have been gained in order to create meaning.
So the collective logical circuit is very much about rhythms and patterns of life,
Coming up with opinions and expressing them,
Finding solutions.
It's about how we critique and improve things for the collective and the patterns around us.
And in the abstract,
Again,
We're sharing our experiences.
We're sharing the lessons of what we have learned through our own life stories,
Through the stories that we have witnessed in others and really being in the experiences and what we've learned from our experiences.
Now,
One big aspect of the collective is social media,
Because when we are working with social media,
And this is a really big,
Important aspect of online entrepreneurship,
We are sharing what we have learned,
Our own experiences,
What we predict.
Social media and media in general is a big aspect of the collective and making impact on a bigger group of people than just our close-knit communities,
Which is what Tribal Energy is about.
Now,
The emotional aspects of collective circuitry,
This circuitry does move through all three awareness centers.
So we have the Ajna Center,
Which is where mental anxiety can live.
We have the Spleen Center where our existential fears live.
And then we have the solar plexus where emotional nervousness lives.
And of course,
Because collective energy runs through the solar plexus,
There is an emotional wave associated with this,
Which is the collective wave.
Now,
The collective wave,
Which runs in the abstract side of the circuit,
Is a wave that builds up through hope and desire.
There is this desire for something new.
There's a desire for new experiences,
For new emotions,
For something new to learn.
This hope builds up and expectations can be created here.
And once the experience is complete,
There can be a big crash of disappointment.
So this wave moves up very slowly and then it crashes.
And the crash happens either because the expectations were not met and even sometimes the expectations may have been met.
But now that the experience is over,
There is a crash and the wave resets.
So understanding the collective wave,
It's very different from the individual and the tribal waves,
Is important.
And especially at the time of this recording,
We have had a collective wave in transit for a very long time,
The 35-36 wave.
This is going to be impacting anybody,
Whether you have emotional definition or not.
Now,
If you're somebody that already has a collective wave,
It brings,
It kind of highlights how you are using this energy,
Where you are from the low frequency to the high frequency of this energy.
If you have a defined solar plexus like me,
But it is not defined through the collective wave,
You're going to have a different experience.
And I've been noticing this very much and really taking this time to notice the desire I have to jump into new emotional experiences and actually really allowing myself just to feel that desire and not act on it unless my strategy and authority gives me the go to act on it.
And what happens when people aren't following their strategy and authority,
They will leap into chaos with this particular wave.
Now,
For people that are undefined in their solar plexus,
This,
Of course,
Is going to be a very emotional time because through the planetary transits that are activating the collective wave,
Anybody with an undefined solar plexus now really has one of those opportunities to gain the wisdom that is available to them through experiencing the collective wave as well as the definition of the solar plexus.
When a transit defines a solar plexus,
It doesn't mean the person has a defined solar plexus.
They do not,
But they get to experience what it is like for others that do have one.
They still have to follow their own strategy and authority,
But this is where they really gain that emotional wisdom and understanding of all of the potential configurations of a defined solar plexus.
Now,
Coming back to the fears,
The collective fears of the Ajna Center involve confusion,
Doubt not being understood,
Opinions being challenged,
Not receiving answers.
When we come to the solar plexus fears,
This is about the emotional highs and lows related to the unknown,
The fear of the fates here or what might happen in the future.
The unknown lives here as well as the fear of emotional inadequacy also lives in the solar plexus collective activation.
And in the spleen,
We have also the fear of inadequacy,
But this is more the fear of logical inadequacy of not knowing enough,
Whereas in the solar plexus,
It's more about emotional inadequacy.
And the other spleen fear of the collective is the fear of authority or the fear of imperfection or being challenged for what you know or what you express from somebody that you have given authority to that you might think knows more than you.
So these are all things that come up and I'm going to dive deeper into these fears and how you can manage them in the following two episodes on the logic circuit and then on the abstract circuit.
Now,
The impact on relationships,
People that have a lot of collective energy,
This energy is not so personal.
It's a very big picture thinking.
Now,
With somebody that may have a lot of logic,
They have an ability to see and correct patterns.
And the goal of this energy is really to correct the patterns for the collective.
When this is not used correctly,
This can be very self-critical and also very critical of others and be very received as criticism.
So that's something to be aware of if you have a lot of logic in your chart,
As well as the loved ones around you that have a lot of logic in their chart.
People with a lot of collective energy in their chart do really well in roles that involve teaching,
Informing others,
Innovating for the collective,
Science,
Research.
All of these areas do very well with a lot of collective energy in the chart.
Writing,
History,
And that's more on the abstract side,
Storytelling,
Content creation.
And I do want to just give a caveat,
Even if you don't have a lot of collective energy in your chart,
That doesn't mean that you cannot do any of these things.
You absolutely can,
Because remember,
If this energy is undefined for you,
You can become incredibly wise about it.
When you look at your chart,
We can see where your really consistent gifts lie,
Where you really can make a contribution to others.
And you can still continue to use the areas of your chart that you don't necessarily have defined and become really wise about how you express those when you're experiencing them.
Collective energy,
They do really strive for harmony,
Uniformity,
And also the status quo.
Now,
This can clash a little bit with individuality because individuals are very much forward thinking.
They are unique.
They do not want to conform and they don't want to be part of the status quo.
And the collective can be very suspicious of individuals that are not necessarily conforming.
The collective also doesn't necessarily trust the demand for loyalty in the bargaining that is inherent in the tribal circuit.
So if you have two individuals who have very different circuitry,
So say you have one that's highly collective,
One that's highly individual or tribal,
There can be some clashes that come up around this.
So,
Again,
Understanding how this energy works in your own chart,
In the chart of your loved ones,
Can help you take things less personally and also be more open to be influenced by their energy so that you can become really wise about it.
Now,
The two subcircuits of the collective circuit are the understanding circuit,
Which is all about logic.
This energy has the ability to really see patterns and use those patterns to predict the future.
They're really good at creating structure.
And this is very much about left brain thinking.
And with this energy,
We have a lot of conditioning around education and schooling.
It's very logically based.
So people that have a lot of logic in their chart,
It's almost advantageous for them because you're easily considered smart if you're logical in traditional schooling.
It's so important to recognize is that there are so many more ways of knowing than just logic.
So somebody that does not have a lot of logic circuitry in their chart may feel like they're not smart or they don't know.
They might not be able to,
Like,
Show their worth that they're supposed to.
And really breaking away from that traditional schooling system.
And yes,
Traditional schooling is great for logical people.
But for somebody who might be more individual or especially if they're more on the abstract side of the circuit,
That might not be the best way for them to learn.
So embracing new ways of learning,
Understanding and schooling can be really important for someone that does not have a lot of logic circuitry in their chart.
Doubt lives in the circuitry and the doubt is meant to be there because people like when there's a lot of logic in the chart,
You're meant to doubt information so that you can then verify it.
Now,
The problem occurs when doubt is turned in on itself and becomes highly self-critical and can also become very critical of others.
Black and white thinking is really common in the circuitry and something that you really want to become aware of if this is a problem for you.
This is about not seeing all sides.
And I definitely have experience with this.
I do have channel 1762 and several other aspects in logic circuitry.
And I do notice when I become very black and white about things,
That is the low expression of the logic circuit.
And I need to step back and expand my perspective so I can see the big picture and not get so bogged up in the details.
In business,
The circuitry really comes in handy for people like analysts,
Strategists,
Scientists,
Educators,
Educators,
People that build systems and anything where logic is really valued.
Then the other subcircuit is the sensing or abstract circuit.
And this is very much about abstract thinking,
Right brain thinking,
Experiences of the past,
Making sense of the past and sharing those experiences with others,
With the collective so that people can learn from what you've learned.
This is a lot about finding meaning in the experiences that have already occurred in the past.
This is the emotional side of the circuit.
This is the side that runs through the solar plexus.
I already talked about the collective wave.
And this can be a little bit of an emotional roller coaster.
So one of the things with this energy emotionally is you want to really keep your expectations in check.
You want to really be open to all possibilities because it's the expectations that really create problems here,
Because oftentimes we have these hopes,
We have these desires,
We have these expectations of how things will be.
And then reality often doesn't meet our expectations.
It can wildly exceed them,
But it can also fail them or can just be very different.
And then there's this disappointment.
So keeping expectations in check really helps you with the emotional aspects of this energy and also really opens you up to all the different possibilities that are available to you.
And for business here,
Creatives,
Storytellers,
Writers,
Counselors,
Filmmakers,
Historians,
As I've already said,
This is great energy to express in those types of mediums.
Abstract energy also moves in cycles.
They have cycles that have distinct beginnings,
Middles and ends.
And in order to really understand what has been learned,
You have to go through the entire experience because the answers usually come at the end.
A lot of time,
People that have a lot of abstract energy don't necessarily get what's happening in the moment.
And this can show up in studies,
In classes where it's just like,
I don't understand what's happening.
I don't get it.
And it's after the experience is complete,
Even if you're taking like an entire semester of something,
It's like everything will come together at the very end when the experience is complete.
And that is totally OK.
I do have abstract circuitry in my chart.
I actually have Channel 4253,
Which I'll talk about more in the coming episodes.
But this is very much about entering the correct experiences,
Going through the correct cycles so that you can learn from the entire experience.
And this is something that infuses the entire abstract circuit.
So allowing the completion of experiences before you share what you've learned is an important part of this.
Now,
I'd like to hear from you,
Do you have collective energy in your chart and how do you experience it?
And if you do not,
But somebody that you love does,
How do you experience that energy from them?
And ask yourself,
Regardless of how you're defined,
How do I contribute to the collective?
Is it through knowledge?
Is it through experience,
Through logic?
And how can I really step into the high expression of this energy?
Please comment wherever you're listening or watching.
I would love to hear from you.
And in the next two episodes,
We'll be talking in depth about the logic circuit and the abstract circuit so you can get a deeper understanding and make the most of this energy in your life,
Your relationships and your career.
Thank you so much for listening or watching.
