Heavenly Father,
As we begin this new day,
We come before you with grateful hearts.
We seek your presence and invite your peace to fill our minds and hearts.
Open our spirits to receive your guidance and grace.
In Jesus' name,
Amen.
Take a moment to focus on your breath here and now,
Inhaling deeply,
Allowing the air to fill your lungs,
And exhale slowly,
Releasing any tension.
As you breathe,
Imagine the Holy Spirit filling you with peace.
And as you exhale,
Let go of any worries or anxieties.
Philippians 4-7 says,
The peace of God which transcends all understanding will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Take a moment here as you begin your day to just focus on that scripture.
The peace of God which transcends all understanding will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
As you prepare your heart and your mind for the day ahead,
Maybe take a moment to rejoice and be glad.
Psalm 118-24 says,
This is the day that the Lord has made.
Let us rejoice and be glad in it.
So consider the blessings and opportunities that this new day brings.
Take a moment to thank God for the gift of life and the chance to experience His love and grace.
As you begin your day,
Lift up any concerns or plans to God.
Just turn them over,
Surrendering them into His hands,
Acknowledging His sovereignty and wisdom.
Proverbs 16-3 says,
Commit to the Lord whatever you do and He will establish your plans.
So commit to Him today.
Surrender your day to God and trust that He will guide your steps and order your day according to His divine purpose.
And finally,
Move into a place of gratitude.
So simply thinking about the blessings in your life,
Expressing gratitude for the simple joys as well as the challenges that can only contribute to your growth.
When Thessalonians 5-18 says,
Give thanks in all circumstances,
For this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.
I'm just taking a moment here to bask in the peace of God,
Mentally preparing for the day ahead and being open to whatever today has to offer.
Invite in peace,
Invite in contentment,
And invite in joy.
Heavenly Father,
We thank you for the peace that surpasses understanding.
As we enter into this day,
May your presence be with us,
Guiding our thoughts,
Guiding our words,
Guiding our actions.
Grant us the strength to face challenges with faith and the wisdom to see your hand in every circumstance.
In Jesus name I pray,
Amen.
And when you're ready,
Perhaps you close this practice with one cleansing breath.
So breathing in deeply,
Exhale out of your mouth,
Slowly opening the eyes,
And I am wishing you a great day ahead.
