As we take a moment to pause today,
I invite you to find a posture of worship,
Of receiving,
Allowing your hands to fall,
Palms facing up,
Maybe keeping the hands lifted or letting them rest on the knees.
Maybe you're lying down on your back and just allow the hands to fall out to the side.
Taking a moment to close the eyes.
Taking a moment to feel God's Spirit here,
His presence.
God we know that you're in this place.
We welcome you.
We surrender,
We pause,
We carve out time for you God.
We thank you for your faithfulness.
We thank you for bringing us through every situation,
No matter how big,
No matter how small,
No matter how stressful,
No matter how scary.
We thank you for being with us.
We thank you for your provision.
We thank you for filling that empty void within us.
God it's been a crazy year.
For some of us it's been a crazy week,
A crazy day.
But God we know that you're with us,
You're guiding us.
Whatever you're doing behind the scenes is only for our good.
God we thank you for everything.
Even the things that we didn't understand,
Why you were taking us through or why things didn't work out the way that we planned.
God we know that you are protecting us from something.
God we know that your plans are greater.
God you are so faithful,
So faithful,
So faithful.
I just want to pray for the one who is close to giving up.
Keep going,
Keep holding on.
Know that he is with you.
Know that you're not alone.
Even though the weight of the world can be a lot sometimes,
Even though our situations can sometimes take over,
Keep holding on,
Keep pushing.
Know that you are strong enough to make it through this season.
But I want to pray for the ones who are counting on you for something big,
To make a way out of no way.
Whether it's healing in the body,
Maybe it's the conception of a new child,
Maybe it's that extra payment or that extra gift that will allow them to make their rent this month,
God.
We know that you're working behind the scenes,
That you are sending huge,
Enormous blessings out to everyone in need right now.
God I want to pray for the one who is being strong for those around them.
Where they feel like they don't have space or they don't have permission to be weak.
God I ask that you feel them.
God I ask that you allow them to find ease.
God I ask that you allow them to give themselves permission to be vulnerable,
To take care of themselves as well.
God I ask that whatever you're doing in this season,
Know that we're accepting.
Know that we're available and that we want to be used by you.
God we ask that you intercede every moment,
That you direct our lives,
That you give guidance and discernment in every move.
God we know that you're with us and we worship you.
We know that you're faithful.
We're so grateful,
So grateful God.
Jesus name I pray,
Amen.
And friend I don't know what season you are in your life today,
But as we close out this moment of pausing together I just want to leave you with a Bible verse,
Lamentations chapter 3 verses 22 and 23.
The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases.
His mercies never come to an end.
They are new every morning.
Great is your faithfulness.
