Hey friend.
Welcome to this guided meditation.
That's designed to calm,
Soothe,
And reset your nervous system.
So take a moment to settle into a comfortable position.
Whatever feels most supportive for you and your body right now.
And when you're ready.
Allow your eyes to gently close.
Giving yourself permission.
To soften down.
And let go of the outer world.
Nothing is required of you right now.
Just being here is enough.
Now rest your attention.
On the breath.
Not trying to change it.
Or force it.
Simply notice its rhythm.
Moving in.
And now.
Nice and easy.
Allowing the muscles of your face.
To soften.
Relaxing your cheeks.
And your jaw.
And releasing the shoulders.
Back.
And down.
Slowly inhale through your nose for a count of four.
3.
Too.
And exhale out of the mouth.
For six.
Five.
4.
3.
Pause.
Breathing in again.
For four.
And exhaling.
For six.
Five.
4.
3.
Pausing just briefly at the bottom.
And then continuing to breathe in this pattern on your own.
Let it be soft and easy.
Allow the air to simply fall back out on the exhale.
Totally unforced.
And as you continue breathing this way,
Just notice.
What begins to change in your body.
What's able to settle down.
Just that bit more.
And as you allow your breath.
To continue at this pace.
Slow and steady.
Bring to mind somewhere.
Where you felt calm.
Or at ease before.
And wherever that is for you.
Let it be a place that brings you a sense.
Of comfort.
Notice all of the details here.
And that feeling.
Of what it's like to be present in this place.
The atmosphere.
A sense of stillness.
And as you rest here,
In this place of peace and calm.
Let your body respond in its own way to these surroundings.
Maybe that means breathing.
A little slower.
A little easier.
We're settling a little bit deeper.
And if it feels natural.
Imagine that the feeling of calm and peace in this place.
Could surround you.
Like a soft layer of warmth.
Like being hell.
Or wrapped in a blanket.
And with each passing breath,
As you're wrapped in this layer.
Of peace and calm.
Your body releases.
Just a little bit more.
Letting go of anything.
It no longer needs to hold on to.
Enjoying the act of simply being.
With nothing to do.
And no effort required.
Rest here for a few moments.
Breathing in.
A sense of ease.
And sighing back out.
As relief.
Washes over you.
And when you feel ready.
Begin to gently return your awareness.
The space around you.
Noticing the sensation of whatever you're resting on.
That feeling of the air on your skin.
And whenever you're ready.
Opening your eyes.
Gathering yourself.
And coming out of that.
Keeping this sense of peace and calm with you.
Knowing that it's available whenever you'd like.
