Brain Retraining Meditation to Align with your Future Self. In this track, we resource ourselves with breath and presence. We bring to mind a current challenge in our life and go on an inner journey to meet our future self who has overcome or integrated that challenge. Connecting to and embodying your future self's wisdom allows you to let go, trust and surrender the situation as already resolved. Aligning with your future self.

Take a moment to get comfortable,

Allowing your breath to deepen,

Noticing the chair,

The bed,

Or the floor underneath you,

And how it's just holding you effortlessly.

Notice the points of contact between your body and the ground.

Breathing in and out,

Allow the focus of your breath to move down into your heart space in the center of your chest.

And imagine your breath coming in and out of the center of your chest.

As you breathe in,

Imagine a ball of golden light glowing in the center of your chest.

And as you breathe out,

It expands all through your body.

Allow a little smile in the corners of your mind.

Bring to mind someone or something that's just so easy to love.

Bring that felt sense right into your heart.

Now imagine yourself somewhere in nature,

A landscape where you feel at home,

Comfortable,

A landscape that brings some awe,

Either by visualizing or having a felt sense.

Notice the ground underneath your feet,

And if it's warm or cool,

The sounds around you,

The life,

The vegetation,

The waters.

Notice how inviting this space is.

Breathe.

And in the distance,

Notice a light that's growing and glowing.

And as you start to move towards that,

Feel a deep sense of kinship,

Safety,

Love.

The ground is supporting you.

The breeze is like a warm.

There's a lightness to your step as you move forward.

That warmth is still glowing in your heart.

And as you move towards this light,

You just bring to mind a challenge that you're having now.

Maybe it's in a relationship with your health,

Anything that comes to mind that's just felt like a struggle or a challenge or just stuck.

And as you move closer to this light,

It starts to take shape,

And you notice that this is you,

But you look a little bit different.

You have a peace,

A smile,

And you can tell that this future version of you has moved through,

Has integrated,

Has overcome this current challenge.

Just allow yourself to watch this future version of you.

Notice how they move,

The quality of their energy,

Their presence,

And continue to walk up until you're right in front of them,

Looking into their kind eyes.

They know exactly what you've been going through,

How hard you've been trying.

They know your pain.

They know your struggles.

They know your heart.

Their eyes reflect that back to you with an unconditional.

Just allow that love to flow into your body,

Being fully seen in exactly where you are right now.

Let them know a little bit more about what's challenging for you.

Share whatever you'd like with them.

They just listen,

Gazing at you with love.

Your future self holds the wisdom,

The integration of this current challenge.

Allow them to share with you what they've learned,

Where they are now,

How the days feel to them,

What life is like.

And as they share,

Just take it in,

Into your heart.

Your future self would now like you to embody the feeling of this integrated state,

This state that has moved through,

Overcome these challenges.

Allow yourself to move forward and step into the body with them,

Stepping into your future self fully and just noticing the tips of your toes,

Into your stomach,

Your heart,

Your chest.

What does this body feel like?

What's different than it is now?

How do they walk through their days?

How do they interact with others and themselves?

Take a few moments to experience their wisdom,

Their embodiment,

Their joy,

Their peace.

Just allow every part of you to feel this.

Feel how they walk through their lives differently with this integration as who they are now.

And when you're ready,

Take a step back,

Leaving them,

But still standing in front of them.

Notice the golden light from your heart to theirs,

Spinning into a golden thread that connects you.

Your future self knows the path that they walk to get to their peace.

And this golden thread connects you to that.

Watch your future self move forward and start to walk away slowly and with ease.

And notice that the golden thread follows.

They pause in the distance and you look down and notice their footsteps on the earth.

You feel a gentle pull in your heart center from that golden thread.

And you start to walk in their footsteps,

Allowing yourself to surrender into the ease of this,

Noticing that all you have to do is follow the gentle pull.

This work is already done.

This issue has already been solved.

Your job is to simply surrender.

Notice the pull of your heart and follow in these footsteps.

They continue to walk.

You continue to follow with ease.

The light slowly fades in the distance and you can still feel the pull in your heart and the ease of walking in these footsteps.

Trusting yourself,

Trusting in them,

And trusting in life.

Taking a few more deep breaths,

Lingering in this space as long as you would like to.

And when you're ready,

Slowly opening your eyes,

Putting a hand somewhere on your body,

Thanking yourself.
