In this visualization, I'll invite you to visualize, or imagine in your mind's eye, a beautiful tree. I'll invite you to imagine the tree during the changing seasons, and how it remains grounded and unmoved even as its external circumstances change. As well as helping to connect us with nature, this practice be a useful metaphor for meditation practice. It highlights how meditation can help some people feel grounded and centered, even amidst the ever-changing seasons and ups and downs of life. Visualizations are generally considered safe and enjoyable for the vast majority of people. However, feel free to modify any natural imagery to feel safe and comfortable for you, and stop if you feel discomfort.
