In this visualization, I'll invite you to visualize, or imagine in your mind's eye, viewing the Earth from outer space. Viewing the Earth from this perspective, can in some people lead to a sense of awe at the vastness of nature and the universe. Viewing the Earth, our home, from this cosmic perspective, can sometimes help to temporarily reduce the mind's normal focus on the 'I' or the 'self', and make our daily worries seem less sticky. Visualizations are generally considered safe and enjoyable for the vast majority of people. However, this practice can evoke feelings of awe or strong emotions. Choose a different practice if this doesn't seem appropriate for you, or stop if you feel discomfort.
