Thank you for joining me with this heart meditation.
This meditation is good for when you are feeling a little low,
A little stressful or just need a boost to your day.
With that in mind,
You can do this meditation wherever you are.
You can stand,
You can sit or lie down,
Whatever is best for you.
You are going to do deep breaths to connect with your heart for a few moments.
So if you are ready,
Let's begin.
Close your eyes as you breathe in through your nose.
Allowing that breath to fill your heart.
Now slowly breathe out.
And again,
Breathe in.
And notice how you feel.
And breathe out.
Now think of a colour as you take a deep breath in.
Swirl that colour around your heart.
And now slowly breathe out.
And again,
Breathe in deeply with that colour.
And swirl the colour around your heart.
Now slowly breathe out.
Now as you take a deep breath in,
Notice how you feel.
And slowly breathe out.
As you slowly breathe in,
Imagine something that brings you joy.
And slowly breathe out,
Allowing that image to stay with you.
Again,
Breathe in.
And notice how the image makes you feel.
And slowly breathe out and allow the image to fade.
Now take a deep breath in and imagine someone that brings you joy.
And as you slowly breathe out,
Allow that image to stay with you.
Now as you take a deep breath in,
Notice how that person makes you feel.
And as you slowly breathe out,
The person fades.
And that feeling that you experience stays with you as you slowly breathe in.
Allow that feeling to swirl around your heart.
And now you slowly breathe out.
Feel joy in your heart as you take a deep breath in.
You spread that joy into every cell of your body.
And now you slowly breathe out.
Now allow yourself to breathe at your normal pace.
Notice how your mind and body feels.
With nice steady breaths,
It's now time to continue your day.
As you wiggle your fingers and your toes,
You open your eyes and smile.
