It's been a journey to get to this moment, This fleeting moment where it is just the two of you. Right now marks a time when you and your baby are the closest you'll ever be. Inside your ever-knowing womb, Connected through cord, Grows your baby. Inside your body, Both hearts beat. This is happening to nobody else, Only you two. So breathe. Allow yourself to let go of all the unknowns, Of all the anticipation, Of all the wondering and planning. Breathe. Allow any physical sensations to simply be here, Not making them right or wrong, Good or bad. Breathe into your back, Into your ribcage. Feel all the available space that you still have. Let yourself sit and take in this exact space in time, Where you and your baby are the closest you will ever be. Let this moment be sacred. Let this moment be raw and true. Inside this moment, You sit as you hold your growing baby.
