I hope you can hear me.

We begin a little bit later than 1.

But what is time?

It's quite an interesting subject for the year 2017.

I was speaking to someone the other day just about this subject,

But not in a very direct way,

In the way that I usually speak to people.

I bring life into the conversation and there is always something deeper and meaningful behind those mundane aspects of life that I communicate to whomever about.

And this person was retired,

The person that I was speaking to was retired.

So usually we believe when we retire we have all the time in the world to do all those things that we never had time to do during our working lives or during the time when we are busy with children or during the time when we are very busy just exploring and adventuring through all the new aspects that we experience in life.

Usually when we are retired we are wise and experienced and have enough time to use that wise knowledge and wonderful experience to focus upon that which is more timeless.

Anyway the person that I was speaking to was complaining to me,

Which is not unusual,

People usually complain to me about different things,

But this was an interesting complaint because the person was complaining about time,

That they never really had time to do anything because they were so busy and I began to ask them what is keeping you from doing what you want and what is keeping you busy and then they explained about this and that and it did sound like they were very busy but actually when you looked at the situation you could see that time,

The perspective of time was very different because of course if you look at those things that the retired person was busy with,

Someone younger or someone just doing and having to do all the things that one has to do when you have children and you are working and you have to clean up the house and you have to shop and you have to cook and you have to attend to birthday parties and you have to do this and you have to do that,

You do all the things that in this person's perspective took up a lot of time and these were little things like walking to the shop was a very busy thing or having to think about a little practicality that just becomes part of everyone's busy lifestyle,

The little practicality of tidying up or the little practicality of putting things away or doing this or doing that,

All is a matter of perspective in the end and when you are retired for this person,

It's not the case for everyone but for this person when you are retired it meant that those little things that we have to do took up most of that person's time and in the end if we look at everything,

All mundane aspects of our experience,

If we look at all the things that we have to do and if we look at all the time that it takes and if we look at all the little bits and pieces that need our attention,

Not just outside of ourselves,

Not just the mundane aspects,

Shopping or cleaning or work or if you are retired all the little bits and pieces that take up time but also if we look at the inner sounds and communications and noise,

Usually the sounds aren't just your mind speaking or your feelings communicating to you but the sounds could be just a lot of noise,

Takes up a lot of time.

So actually we never retire from the mundane as perhaps we are manipulated into thinking and the perspective of thinking becomes that when,

Sometime in the future when I am retired or when I complete my New Year resolutions or when I get that wonderful job or when I meet the perfect person or when I have this under control or when this situation outside of myself is complete or when my mind is relaxed enough to focus then I can start living life,

Then I can retire and enjoy everything and you know I bring up the communication with this retired person because it's such a cultural paradigm that we have to keep waiting for all the good things until we retire and we believe that paradigm in many different ways so we believe that we always have to wait for the perfect experience rather than honor that quality that is beyond the noise or that quality that is beyond this idea that things will fix themselves in the future or that all will flow in the future and that we just need to wait for whatever it is that our mind is focused on in that moment,

Retirement or the perfect job or the perfect this or when I complete and tick the lists that I've written for 2017 when I've fulfilled all these interesting resolutions then I can begin to live life but actually what I said to this retired person is that everything takes time,

Everything takes time even me just speaking to you in this moment takes time because within this experience that we're having within this manifestation in the body,

In our minds,

In our feelings that we are going through we are experiencing life as a dualistic concept but if we can step outside of time and space and back into this moment then we'll discover that there is a quality within us that is very timeless and can't be quantified within this dualistic perspective that we experience our lives through.

It's a timeless quality that is similar to your thoughts.

So if you focus on your thoughts such as retirement or waiting for this next interesting experience to happen whatever it is,

Waiting for a better job or a better year or a better thought,

Better feeling to happen if we wait in this way for the next experience then we're not here in this moment and we're not honoring this moment.

So we move from the timeless to the very manipulated perspective of time which is this illusion that everything takes time but actually that which takes time is your own thinking and your own thinking from within this dualistic perspective will take forever.

This is why the mystics speak about karma or this wheel of experience that keeps going around the same record or the same concept,

The same belief system,

The same way of understanding,

Seeing or experiencing life because the same old record is being played.

So if we get lost in this idea that tomorrow or in the next moment or next year is going to be better then we don't bring ourselves back to this wonderful timeless experience which is right now and right now your thoughts are timeless.

This means that you don't have to follow your thoughts in the structure,

In its structural form that then manipulates you to believe that tomorrow is better.

You can come back here to now and understand that right now everything is perfect.

The idea that tomorrow is better brings you to the belief system where you think too much rather than come back to a deep heartfelt experience of opening to this moment.

You think too much,

You think about this and you think about that and all those thoughts are going to take forever,

Lifetimes to go through and to experience and that circle or that wheel of illusion that the mind is caught within will continue speeding up creating more confusion and creating more disappointments just like this retired person that I was speaking to.

The person was very disappointed that they didn't have time to enjoy their final years so because they were busy with this and busy with that we will always remain busy with this and busy with that if we can't come back to honoring the timeless quality that's within this beautiful moment.

So for 2017 perhaps one of your resolutions if you feel comfortable with this is to drop this idea that tomorrow or when whatever is completed or when you get to a point within yourself where you feel more perfect or where you see the world in a better way or where you experience the world in a better way then you will begin to live life.

Perhaps one of the resolutions for 2017 could be that you live life in this moment rather than waiting for the next one to happen and that is a very profound even though it sounds simple a very profound intention to put forth for 2017.

A year which I believe for most will be a very interesting year.

If you have experienced 2016 as many have communicated to me as difficult and you've had many difficult experiences as when perhaps you look at the news all sorts of interesting things have happened in 2016 maybe the same for you maybe all sorts of interesting things have happened to you.

For many 2016 has been a very difficult year with many intense experiences with many challenges I'm being told that for many 2016 was almost one of the more difficult years of experience that can't really be understood as okay this year was difficult because I experienced this or that it was just a difficult year for some people perhaps it wasn't for me 2016 was a wonderful year.

It depends on your perspective in the end everything depends on your perspective so perhaps 2016 could be the foundation where you are able to take a quantum leap into this timeless quality that is sometimes missed as we get very busy with our minds because I believe 2017 is going to be a year where there is more light there is more potential to reach for there is more wonderful experiences awaiting your exploration you're embracing those experiences with a sense of awe and a sense of adventure and a sense of wow 2017 is not just a wonderful year but a year where I can quantum leap into the timeless qualities that only exist within this moment rather than waiting for tomorrow or for when I retire or for when things change or for when there is a better year maybe one of your intentions could be to just accept the perfection within this moment to embrace the perfection within this moment and I find when you do this that instead of creating these long very difficult lists to follow you know everyone has their list I don't know if you wrote your list maybe it's a good thing to do and to write your list if you haven't done so already of those things that were wonderful for you in 2016 in your perspective what was what was good what what was helpful what was nice and perhaps also just to to balance things out what was bad you know what what wasn't so nice what was difficult what was challenging and look at the good and bad that you've written down on in your journal and weigh it up you know just look at it and say okay how can 2017 be a better year for me so don't get caught in oh gosh it was a difficult year and and just that part of the negative mind that is always looking at things and thinking oh why is it like this for me why why does life treat me in such a way or perhaps not perhaps 2016 was wonderful for you and you read and think well I thought 2016 wasn't such a good year but now reading all the good things that I've written down it's actually quite a nice year but I could still make it better what is the limit that you want to set for yourself many people create limits I will only begin to enjoy life when I retire I will only begin to enjoy the perfection within myself when life gives me this when I have my house or when I have my this or that but what are what are the limits that you are creating within yourself now and how can you quantum leap beyond them so that you reach your potential see that's how by writing these things down how you can look at some aspects of your life and see how 2017 can be a year where you celebrate things in a way that is better for you meaning that you don't judge the good and bad but you just see what those resolutions are like the ones that you write down okay for 2017 perhaps you write down I'm going to meditate or I'm going to listen to the transmissions more and really enjoy them I'm going to gift myself with transmissions perhaps that's what you write down in your resolution that's fine but take it a step further because you know writing all these things down is a beginning and it's a wonderful beginning but perhaps you can quantify what better means for you so rather than just saying I'm going to be listening to transmissions maybe you can write down and quantify it in the sense where you're saying okay I'm going to give myself every week the gift of listening to a transmission or many transmissions doesn't have to just be transmissions it could be something like walking 10 minute walk every week if you're not doing this already I'm going to give myself the gift of walking for 10 minutes once twice three times a week don't create too many expectations out of yourself you know okay 2016 was such a bad year I'll make sure that I catch up in 2017 so I'm going to walk every 10 minutes you know start with what I call micro goals or micro milestones where you know that you can do it and it's so easy for you to do what you've written down it's so very easy perhaps 10 minutes for most people is an easy thing to put into practice 10 minutes a week to walk okay yeah I can do that I've got 10 minutes that's easy you might say to yourself but if you say I'm going to walk 10 minutes every day well perhaps that will be more complex because every day could be as busy as a day that is just so very busy that you say I just don't know what happens with time and I don't have enough time to walk for 10 minutes so rather than overwhelm yourself start with micro milestones and say I always have time in a week 10 minutes I'll always have time to walk no matter what and be strong that's part of what creates a quantum leap into this timeless dimension of experience the strength not to fall back into a manipulative mind because old habits are difficult to transcend they are stronger than you they're much stronger than you no matter what you think and you might think the beginning of January yeah for sure I'm going to do all these things and then just watch as the power of your subconscious is where that's the place where bad habits live and sometimes live in hidden so that they are not expressing or communicating to you anything but they're there communicating to you on some subconscious level just be aware that the only way to transform bad habits is to create good ones and to create good habits you have to start by taking the first step the first step should be an easy step you don't ask a little baby to you know start jogging or start maneuvering complicated roads or they just take their first baby step and that's a wonderful thing and make sure that when you take that little step that micro jump into reaching your milestone that you celebrate and you honor your experience and listen to the qualities that are being transmitted within that moment rather than the mind jumping into the next moment saying well I could do more I could do it better I could do it differently celebrate that which is perfect within you because as soon as you do this then you're celebrating the perfection of this moment and this moment begins to glitter and shine consciousness within your experience in a much more powerful way that is the only thing that is more powerful than negative thinking or bad habits that is your own consciousness your own consciousness that you experience within this moment consciousness if hidden behind or in between all the layers of your personality or your cultural belief systems or your social belief systems have hidden don't have the same power as when celebrated and acknowledged and you opening yourself up to this level of consciousness you celebrating this level of consciousness through the little steps that we all can take yeah so if you're busy this is what I said to the retired person if you're busy then make sure that you find ten minutes here and ten minutes there to do the things that really create a heartfelt meaning meaningful experience a heartfelt meaningful experience well I love walking for ten minutes a week and that is such a gift I love listening to the transmission and that's such a gift and your heart when you create such a good habit within your activity within your thinking within your feeling your heart begins to celebrate and honor the wisdom that is being transmitted within the experience right now in this moment so the celebration becomes glitter and light and sparkling delight all happening at once and your heart is just much more happy to be part of the experience that perhaps may be challenging so you're taking one step and yes there are 20 waiting for you that need to be completed 20 other steps you you you you you you take one of your resolutions on the list and you say okay I've done my ten minutes of walk but I still have this problem that I can't sit and meditate because when I sit and meditate I'm very busy with my thoughts I wish okay make sure that you write down all those things that are important for you and make sure that you look at what you're doing in this moment rather than what has to be done I believe this to be a wonderful thing because even if you're busy then you will acknowledge within the busyness those moments where you are aligned to perfection aligned to that which is perfect within yourself rather than getting caught in chasing the next interesting idea that the mind thinks about and as soon as you do this inside of yourself inside of your own thinking inside of your own feeling then you're opening up to receptivity so you're becoming receptive to the wisdom that allows you to do things in a better way because very often the negative thoughts are manipulating you to believe that you're doing things in a way that isn't worth celebrating very often when speaking to people people will say I'm not good enough and then I look at what they're doing and I wonder why have they set themselves such high standards then those standards those high standards are already being manifested and already within deep within their potential and if acknowledged in a way where you're not judging or where you're not creating this idea of good and bad the next moment being better then already this moment lifts you up to your wonderful potential that is not created by a belief system or by trying to create a positive habit out of a negative perspective but rather from the perfection that is within the experience of this moment there is the only thing that is timeless is your own potential within your thinking so if you create a limitation and say to yourself this thing that I'm doing here is not good enough my meditation isn't good enough my way of thinking or my way of feeling isn't good enough then you bring your level of consciousness to a lower experience of consciousness and that is what you surround yourself with that's what you begin to interact and communicate to so if you come back to the timeless potential that's within this moment within your thinking in this moment you are receptive to the many communications that happen that you're not aware of I believe that to be the important aspect of 2017 that is the light I'm speaking about that is the potential that humanity used me and everyone else sharing this wonderful planet together we are ready to embrace as a culture and as a world together we are ready to begin to embrace potential not from our old experiences our limited perspectives but rather from a new one because light is always new light is always a reflection of something that you haven't experienced yet light is inner growth it's where consciousness can manifest in such a way that you expand beyond the old belief systems the negative habits the negative thoughts if you let them go then everything begins to flow as you breathe in and breathe out perhaps this meditation will help you embrace 2017 in a receptive way where the flow of consciousness is your reference as you breathe in and breathe out make sure that your breath is a conscious breath so you're breathing with awareness your body aware the posture of your body straight upright shoulders back and relaxed face relaxed eyes relaxed body relaxed you're very aware of your body and receptive to the subtle information that comes through your body when your body is honored as a perfect channel of consciousness as you breathe in breathe out your body's reflecting this perfection in its structure in its receptivity in its joy and delight in its beautiful light breathing in and breathing out the natural flow of consciousness letting go of the old letting go the old thoughts and the old feelings and the old structures just breathing in consciousness deep breath making sure the breath is much more of a breath and a normal breath so you're breathing down into your abdomen relaxing your diaphragm deep full breath just as when we breathe in in such a way where we are acknowledging life wow everything is perfect breathe in we just breathe in in a deep wonderful way where the body is open and receptive to the flow of consciousness as we breathe out letting go whatever stresses or anxieties or tensions or worries thoughts feelings just imagining them flow out through your out breath imagining all those aspects flow out as you breathe out creating a space of consciousness within a space of openness space of receptivity as you let go of the old and invite the light of the new the light of consciousness into every cell of your body every little cell in your body celebrating this light of newness this light of consciousness feel this inside the body sparkling with light the body warm and tingling the cells within your body warm and tingling the perfection of being is right here in this moment sense it and celebrate it as an experience right now letting go of tensions just opening up to the joy of being alive here in this moment the joy of life as you breathe in and breathe out letting go of the old emotions there are so many and all you have to do is come back to this timeless quality within your heart where the feeling of love compassionate love for your being for your inner being and for the world for all aspects of the world expands so that this good feeling this sense of goodness within your heart becomes the compassion by which you reach out emotionally to the world doesn't matter the past or doesn't matter what you the negatives of what you may have felt in the past or what you may still be holding on to the goodness that you feel within your heart this compassion that you feel within your heart becomes the bridge whereby not only does your body and your the breath within your body and the feelings within your body take you to the space of stillness where you're compassionate and peaceful and loving and open to new experience new feelings new perspectives special new perspectives changing the perspective of the old by letting things go and being receptive rather than reactive to the old belief systems or the old feelings or the old thoughts within those feelings deep breath down to the abdomen extending the belly so that the breath is full and complete just like one of those interesting buddhas that you see you know in such a big big belly full of breath or energy the energy of consciousness is within your breath as you breathe in and breathe out making sure that you're here grounded sometimes it helps to breathe into the belly the abdomen in this way where you're grounding yourself here so you're not just caught in the qualities of thinking but you're caught in the awareness that is not just in thinking but also within your body within your feelings within your energy sensing energy the space around your breath around your body as you become compassionate and loving and extend that compassion and love beyond yourself in a selfless way to the world the space changes the energy of the space around you changes and the perfection of consciousness is not only communicated within but's also communicated to all and everyone every aspect of your experience touches is touched by this communication of consciousness as you breathe in and breathe out everything changes the references that are perhaps part of your past are no longer so powerful those micro steps that you begin to take as we continue flowing through 2017 those micro steps become the milestones or acknowledgements of consciousness is the path that allows for the heart to celebrate life in this moment with excitement joy the sense of newness create this as wonderful intention deep within celebration sense of lightness that every little step that you take every little step that you're taking right now every conscious little step that you're taking right now is creating an experience that is timeless infinite your compassion your love extends forever everywhere and that is perfection you are part of this perfection thank you
