This meditation can be completed in standing,
Sitting,
Lying or walking.
It is designed to bring you back to the moment when you are feeling unsettled.
Take a few moments to notice how you feel.
What's troubling you?
Do you have any tension that you can let go of?
If so,
Take a deep breath in and let the tension go as you exhale.
Remember,
Any moment is impermanent.
Any feeling is impermanent.
And any thought is impermanent.
Take three slow,
Controlled deep breaths in through the nose and out through the mouth.
Each in-breath,
Fill yourself with a settling feeling.
And each out-breath,
Feel yourself become grounded in the moment now.
Feel the freshness enter your body as you inhale.
Fostering a sense of impermanence of the moment,
Of the feeling,
Of the sensations and of any thoughts that you might have.
In any circumstance,
You can start afresh.
You have the power and control to start a new moment at any time.
Simply come back to this breath and use the technique if you are feeling unsettled.
Now finally take one more deep breath in through the nose,
Filling the whole body as you do so.
And slowly and steadily,
Breathe out through the mouth and feel settled and refreshed in this moment.
