Find yourself a position of comfort.
This may be either sitting,
Standing or laying.
Whichever position you choose is right for you in this moment.
Take three slow,
Controlled breaths.
In through the nose,
Accepting as you do so.
And out through the mouth,
Letting go and relaxing into the moment right now.
Bring an awareness to how your body feels in this moment.
From the crown of your head to the tips of your toes.
Are there any points of tension that you feel that you can release?
Or are you happy for your body to be just as it is in this moment?
Now bring your attention to your thoughts.
Are your thoughts coming in flurries or as individual thoughts?
Don't try and switch your thoughts off.
If your thoughts come,
Simply acknowledge the thought and bring yourself back to the moment.
Right here and now.
Each time you notice a thought,
You have the wondrous opportunity to make a fresh start.
And bring yourself back to this moment.
Now take three more slow,
Deep and controlled breaths.
On each inhalation,
Feel the air flow into your whole body.
And as this happens,
Feel compassion towards yourself.
As you exhale,
Congratulate yourself for giving you the time to enjoy this moment right here,
