Hello and welcome.
Welcome to this guided meditation and today we're going to take a journey and we'll start this one pretty much right away.
So I invite you to just get settled in.
Get as comfortable as possible.
Whether you prefer to be seated,
Allow yourself to get comfortable.
Gently feather your nest.
As davidji says,
Comfort is queen.
And if you're lying down,
I invite you to again just get as comfortable as possible.
If you're seated,
Allow yourself to settle in.
Your shoulders loosen.
Maybe move one up,
Back and down.
The other up,
Back and down.
Deep breath and just settle in here.
And today we're going to take a journey and in this guided visualization we're going to go into a virtual reality.
So I invite you to put on your metaphorical virtual reality goggles as you close your eyes.
And with these you're going to be able to see things as you would almost in a dream or in a virtual reality.
And in this one,
As you're settling in,
Take some deep breaths in through your nose,
Out through your mouth.
Just let your body settle,
Feel grounded and held here.
And no matter where we go in the visualization,
Remember that you're always so held by the earth,
The earth mother below,
Rooted and grounded here.
And simultaneously so held by the divine,
The beautiful waterfall of grace,
Pillar of light above coming in through your crown.
So take a deep breath in again.
Let go of any tension in your body.
And you're going to envision yourself connecting to the seeker within you that maybe is looking for some answers or maybe something that you've been navigating or maybe even struggling a bit with.
And with these goggles on,
Imagine yourself at the base of a vast wall.
The wall is solid,
Imposing,
Studded with challenges.
And this wall stands for all the walls you've encountered.
Maybe goals that you haven't met yet.
Maybe struggles,
Physical or even mental.
Maybe unanswered questions you might have within yourself.
Deep breath in.
And as you look up,
Feel any tension around the wall that you may have and breathe out.
Take another deep breath in.
And let go of any of that resistance.
Soften.
And in your mind's eye,
You begin climbing this wall.
And on the wall,
There are grips and ropes and there are footholds.
And these represent your plans.
Maybe you're striving for your goals,
For answers.
You rise and you're pulling yourself up.
Deep breaths in.
And as you're reaching and stretching for these ropes,
And as you continue to climb,
You notice that as you get to this certain height,
The ropes disappear above you.
So you're standing there and you're unsure on where to go next.
And pause here and feel the memories that you've created.
A memory of frustration and despair in your body.
Notice where this comes up.
Maybe even put your hand on that part of your body and take some deep breaths to this frustration or despair.
Maybe not knowing.
Deep breaths here.
And now at this point,
You're unsure what to do.
So you tune in and you hear a soft,
Kind whisper within you.
This time,
When the ropes disappear,
Look more carefully.
So your first instinct is maybe to go down the wall a little bit.
Maybe see if another part of the wall has ropes going up.
So you do that.
Down and begin climbing up again.
And again,
You see that the ropes are disappearing.
They're starting to disappear.
So now within the virtual reality game,
You have the ability to speak to an inner voice.
But this inner voice is special.
It has a bird's eye view.
It has an aerial view.
And again,
It tells you,
This time when the ropes disappear,
Look more carefully.
So instead of looking just straight in front of you or up,
You start to look more carefully.
And envision placing both of your feet firmly on the ledge.
Inhale,
Continue listening to your inner guidance.
That voice inside of you or the bird's eye view said,
Look not upwards,
More sideways,
But look right in front of you.
And sometimes when we're facing this wall or struggle or we're unsure of our next step,
We have to look more closely.
So you start to look at the wall more closely and you're still baffled.
And then suddenly you see a tiny crack,
The smallest crack in the wall,
And you notice there's a hidden keyhole.
This moment,
You feel a moment of recognition,
The soft click of insight.
Take a deep breath into this of maybe getting that idea of what that struggle may be within you.
And sometimes we see something and we think it's a wall.
So as you see that keyhole,
You realize,
I've been trying to climb this wall the whole time.
But it's actually a door.
Take some deep breaths into this.
And maybe there's a struggle that you've had and the way you view it.
You thought it was a wall,
But you realize it's actually a door and you can actually walk through it.
Sense how that wall dissolves into a door.
You feel the light coming through your crown.
As you see a new perspective,
A shift,
Feel that light come in,
Breathe in the radiance.
And you take the tiny key,
Which is your awareness,
Your presence,
Your openness.
And when we open our mind,
That new awareness can come in and that shift can happen from wall to doorway.
You fit that tiny key into the keyhole and gently turn.
Feel the shift with inside your body and maybe where you had your hand,
Where you were feeling that struggle or resistance.
Feel the light come into that area.
Feel the shift as you now pass through.
The wall was never solid.
It was a doorway all along.
Continue to breathe this in.
And now you stand bathed in warm,
Beautiful light.
The light that is yours.
This light is peace.
It's self-knowing.
I invite you to take three breaths here.
Deep breaths.
Take a deep breath in.
Absorb the shift as you take these breaths.
Now you are seeing.
You are not just seeking or climbing.
You are seeing more clearly.
Allow this light to come in through your entire body.
And feel every part of your being comes into the top of your crown,
Cleansing your third eye,
Going down your throat,
Your central channel,
Permeating into your heart,
Your solar plexus,
Down your arms,
Down your central channel,
And say softly to yourself,
I am a seer.
The walls before me are doorways.
I am a seer.
The walls before me are doorways.
Let those words resonate with you.
Take some deep breaths into this and carry that with you,
Remembering that you are a seer and that the walls before you are doorways.
Gently,
When you're ready,
Bring your awareness back to your body,
Back to your breath.
Gently start wiggling your fingers and toes,
Bringing awareness back to your breath,
Feeling your body supported here by your sit bones or your back body if you're laying.
And when you're ready,
Take your time and slowly open your eyes.
And I invite you to bring this mantra with you,
That you are a seer and that the walls before you are doorways.
