Visualization is a powerful method that allows you to use your imagination to help you relax. Once you feel completely relaxed and centered, you will start to bring yourself to one of your favorite, peaceful, beautiful places. This could be a place you’ve been before like a silent redwood grove with cool shade and towering ancient trees.

Hello and welcome to this healing session for anxiety.

If you will,

Find a comfortable position,

A relaxed position today,

Where you feel safe enough to just let go of all of your daily stresses.

Allow yourself to just be here and now.

Letting your body just be.

You don't have to do anything because our bodies naturally want to be calm and relaxed.

Sometimes thinking too much or being tense and anxious doesn't allow for us to relax.

So naturally we must let go of that need to control that present moment and future outcomes.

Anxiety happens because we tend to over analyze what we think will happen today,

Tomorrow,

Next week and we do this out of habit because in the past situations and outcomes didn't happen the way we wanted them to.

So we tend to feel that if we can control those things then we'll be better but that actually leads to worry.

So in order to change this habit we have to change how we see ourselves and create new beliefs and that's what this session today is on.

But first get into a relaxed state.

Try to calm your mind and we're going to start with some breathing.

I'm going to count down and as I do I want you to fully inhale with your belly and exhale tightening your belly.

And with each breath you're going to feel more and more relaxed taking you into a deep state of peace.

And I'm going to count down from five now.

Five,

Take in a full breath and as you exhale feel the tension loosening a little bit.

Four,

Take a nice deep breath in and as you exhale feel even more relaxed as tensions let go.

Three,

Take a full breath in and out.

Your mind is becoming calm and clear.

Two,

Inhale deeply and when you exhale observe the need to control release from your body as you become extremely relaxed.

One,

As you take your last breath and exhale slowly all tension that you felt is gone and you are now in complete peace and tranquility.

Now you hear yourself saying I've survived this before and I'll survive now.

I'm strong and I persevere through anything.

I know that I am not my anxiety.

I can take things one step at a time.

I will live only in this moment.

I approach the situation with openness and curiosity.

I am in charge of my breathing and I can slow it down when I need to.

I enjoy my feelings of inner calm.

I am actively taking steps to reduce my anxiety.

I am talented and I have many things to offer.

I cultivate patience to overcome anxiety.

I am courageous and can make it through anything.

I use my unique strengths to move beyond my anxiety.

I know what I value and I place my energy there.

I can find pleasure in my life right now.

I will only allow for healthy decisions in my life now.

I am loved.

I am unique.

I am important.

I matter,

Therefore I am worthy.

I can do this.

I love who I am,

I am in control.

I control my mind,

It does not control me.

I have the power to stop this.

I am relaxed,

I am calm.

I am successful.

I am free from my anxiety.

I am in control.

I am above the stress of any kind.

All is well.

I am safe.

I am prepared for change.

I am strong.

I acknowledge when it's difficult and know I will rise above it.

Now I am going to count down from five.

With each number I say you will gain more and more awareness of the present moment and as you do you bring with you all that you gain today.

You take action with a new mindset ready to tackle challenges without getting anxious or worried.

Coming back slowly,

Five.

Four,

Feel how your body is laying or sitting.

Three,

You're becoming more alert.

Two,

You are aware of your surroundings a bit more now.

One,

You feel fully awake and refreshed.

Great job,

Thank you for joining me today on Relieving Anxiety and Go Forward.

Be blessed.
