The Longing Of The Heart

In this guided meditation, we are invited to fully experience the deep longing within our hearts, and by doing so, we allow for a process of transmutation, where the energy that manifests as restlessness becomes peace.

Once again, Let's get in touch with the spine and our formation. The main structures of our body, That which connects us to the Earth and that which allows us to be upright. So as you close your eyes, We always have to start with giving our full consent, Our heart's consent to go within, To feel inside. We need to acknowledge that often there is this resistance to go with it. Can you notice that resistance within you, That part of you that resists to go inside? It is often like an inner agitation, A part of us that is restless, But if you're able to breathe and be with that restlessness, With that part of you that is unsettled, And actually try to locate where it is, Where in your body do you feel this restlessness? Cultivate in this sense of curiosity. If this energy of restlessness had a center, Where would that center be? Where in the body does it arise from? See if you can soften. See if you can surrender to the experience that you're having right here, Right now. And feel your own energy. This energy of restlessness makes us go outside and seek and do. It moves the mind from here to there. It tenses our body. Can you feel it? Can you feel what is underneath this energy? There's a desire behind this energy. There is a longing. There is a deep longing. It seeks fullness of being. It longs for fullness of being. If you follow it, If you feel this energy within you, And you stay with it, It actually takes you within to the source, Which is the heart, The longing of the heart, The longing of your core. Can you be with it? Like a fire in the heart. As you stay with it, As you feel it in the heart, As you make peace with it, It's purified in the light of awareness. Imagine these hot rays of fire becoming cool, Blue flames, As red fire in the heart becomes blue, The color of awareness, As the sacred transmutation happens within. As you hold the awareness of the heart, Loving awareness of your heart, From this process, Contentment arises, Peace arises gradually as you stay with the heart, As you make peace with this longing, As you let it take you within, To its source, Which is your own being. It is called purification of the heart. As you stay with it, As you let it take you within,
