Hello and welcome.
My name is Tina Stinson and I want to thank you for joining me in this energy alignment meditation.
Get yourself into a comfortable position and when you're ready close your eyes gently.
Let's start by taking a deep breath in through the nose,
Expanding your belly.
Hold at the top for a second and then as you exhale begin to release all the tension from your body.
One more deep breath in,
Expanding your belly,
Moving that expansion into your chest.
Hold at the top and then exhale with a sigh and set the intention to be present during this meditation.
As you continue to breathe deeply bring your awareness to the concept of energy and how it influences your life.
Notice how certain activities,
Media and interactions affects your energy levels,
The way that you feel in your body and your emotions.
Now let's focus on the areas where we have control.
Consider the media you consume,
The TV shows,
The movies,
The music and social media you engage with.
Next bring to mind the things that make you feel stressed,
Anxious or closed off in these areas.
Acknowledge them without judgment and then take a deep breath in,
Really deep,
Filling the belly.
Hold at the top,
Visualize these things in your head and then as you exhale I want you to release them.
As you exhale they're coming out of your being allowing yourself to feel lighter and more free.
Now let's reflect on what brings you joy in these areas.
Is it a healing meditation?
Maybe some healing music?
A feel-good movie?
A good friend?
What makes you feel good?
What expands your spirit?
Look at all these different areas and add those things back in.
Take a deep breath in and as you breathe in imagine the positive energy from these sources just flowing through every cell in your body,
Down to your fingertips,
Down to your toes,
Through your spine.
And as you exhale I want you to feel into the comfort you now have in your body.
Now let's turn our attention to the people in our lives.
Reflect on those who uplift and support you,
Who bring a smile to your face and warmth to your heart and with gratitude embrace their positive influence.
Also consider those who present things that might drain you,
Your energy,
They create tension.
Recognize that while we may not always have control over who enters our space we can choose how much time and energy we devote to them.
As you continue to breathe deeply visualize decluttering all the areas that we talked about earlier in your life,
Reducing the friction and creating space for new experiences and opportunities to flow into your life.
Imagine the space expanding within you allowing for growth and transformation.
Finally as you take in one last deep breath through your nose,
Expanding your belly,
Moving that expansion into your chest,
Hold at the top and then exhale fully letting go of anything that no longer serves you.
Feel the sense of release and renewal wash over your body leaving you feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.
And rejuvenated.
When you're ready gently open your eyes carrying this sense of clarity and spaciousness with you as you move through your day.
