Let's begin our meditation.

Find a comfortable position,

Sitting or lying down.

Close your eyes or soften your gaze.

Take a moment to settle into this space,

Allowing yourself to be fully present.

Again,

With a few deep breaths in through your nose and out through your mouth.

Let each exhale release any tension you may be holding.

Today we're going to explore the concept of empowering your parts,

Letting them know they have choices and can have a sense of agency.

So just notice those inner voices or feelings that play roles in your life.

We'll connect with them gently and invite them into a space of trust and transformation.

And as you notice your inner world,

Continue to bring your awareness to your body.

Notice the sensation of your feet touching the ground or the support of the chair or bed beneath you.

If it's helpful,

You can imagine roots extending from your feet into the earth.

Grounding you in a sense of stability and safety.

With each breath,

Feel yourself becoming more and more centered,

Anchored in the present moment.

Now focus inward again and again.

Get a sense of how much calmness,

Curiosity,

And compassion you have.

These are qualities that help us know how much self-energy is present.

And remember that just a bit of that calmness,

Curiosity,

Compassion can go a long way.

We don't need all of it.

We're never living fully out of that energy,

But just want to see if we can get a critical mass to move forward.

If it feels hard to connect with this energy,

That's okay.

Simply notice what's present without judgment.

But as you breathe,

Invite a sense of openness and curiosity.

And if visualization works for you,

It may be helpful to imagine this energy as a warm light within you,

Expanding with each breath.

Let this light represent your ability to lead with clarity and care.

In this place of self-energy,

Gently invite one part of you to step forward.

It might be a part that feels stuck,

Critical,

Or overwhelmed.

As this part steps forward,

Simply notice how it feels.

Where do you sense it in or around your body?

What emotions or thoughts does it bring up?

And if you're feeling more of a constrictedness than an openness,

There are other parts that are jumping in,

And just acknowledge them.

See if they could give a little space for you to get curious about this part today.

And let them know that you can give them some space at another time.

And if they're able to do that,

Thank them.

And bring your attention back to the first part that stepped up.

Greet this part with kindness.

Letting it know that you see it,

And thank it for stepping up.

And ask them a few questions.

What role are you playing in my life right now?

And what are you trying to protect me from?

Listen to its response with patience and gratitude.

Let this part know that you're here to support it.

That you want to help it find a way to be.

To play a part,

But at the same time,

So it doesn't have to work so hard.

Offer this part some reassurance.

Letting it know that you appreciate how hard it's been working.

It's been doing its best to help you.

And ask the part,

What would help it feel supported right now?

And what job would it love to do?

Because there is a job that is energizing.

We're not trying to put it out of a job,

We need it.

But there's very likely an easier way.

And if that was possible,

What would it like?

And just give this part some time to respond.

Maybe ask questions.

Let the part know it can trust you to lead,

And that you'll take small gentle steps together.

Just see if it could trust you just a little more,

If there's some hesitancy there as you live your life.

If it feels right,

Imagine surrounding this part with the warm light of your self-energy.

Letting the part experience some of that safety and being cared for.

And see if there's anything else before we begin to wrap up.

Take a moment to thank this part for showing up and sharing with you today.

Let them know you're here to continue building trust and working together over time.

Then notice the parts that have witnessed this and thank them for their courage and stepping back and giving some space.

Let them know that they can have some attention at another time too,

Because they matter.

They're a part.

They're a part of the team inside of you.

Then gradually bring your awareness back to your breath.

Notice the rise and fall of your chest.

The sensation of the air entering and leaving your body.

When you're ready,

You can open your eyes or lift your gaze.

And take a moment to notice how you feel.

As you move through your life,

Remember that empowering your parts,

Giving them a sense of choice and agency is a journey.

Each step you take builds trust and creates space for transformation.
