What is this fear of being alone?
The fear of the truth?
As with all things that we fear.
We fear the truth.
And there is a profound truth that what you really are.
Is incredibly alone.
Whereas if it's all one.
And you are that one.
Than you are.
Emphatically alone in the oneness of what is,
And in a world where it appears to be a bunch of separate people.
And it seems like what we want comes from others.
And if we really,
Really believe that.
Then that aloneness transforms into loneliness.
But there's a beauty in the aloneness.
There's a beauty in recognizing,
You know what it's like for me?
It's like recognizing that my human journey is simply between me and God.
I am alone in the heart of God.
And when I see the immensity of God,
That is not a bad thing at all.
I'm alone in the heart of God.
In the way that this world doesn't have anything for me.
In the way that as much as I unquestionably enjoy the company of my wife,
There's no certainty there.
Like at any moment,
Something could happen.
And so in that,
I'm alone.
The experience with her is temporary.
My experience with God is eternal.
All things in this world are temporary,
All relationships.
They come and go.
More so than they go,
They transform.
But then,
You know.
We could speak about it in a different way.
Where the fear of Being alone speaks to the sincerity within us that desires to share our experience with others.
And.
.
.
Often it is the case and I'm not at all saying it is your case.
But often it is the case that we have so much.
Conflict and drama swirling around within ourselves about ourselves.
That we push others away.
And so.
.
.
Our fear of aloneness is.
In some way to fear our own.
Unwillingness to meet ourselves,
To get out of the way so that we can invite others in.
