This talk will guide you through the basics of muscle testing your own body to use your body's wisdom to improve your decision making,Β and improve your life! Included here is full-body sway, weighted testing and four types of finger testing. Why use muscle testing? Tools such as muscle testing or a pendulum are great ways to tap into the innate intelligence of our body and bypass the intellect. It is meant to be listened to along with my other talk on "asking the right questions."

Hi,

I'm Trevor Lewis and this talk about using muscle testing is meant to be listened to along with my other talk on asking the right questions.

Why use muscle testing?

Tools such as muscle testing or a pendulum are great ways to tap into the innate intelligence of your body and bypass the intellect of the mind.

Our mind doesn't always give us accurate information,

Our body always does.

The point here is that muscle testing helps you bypass your rational left brain and allows you to tap into your intuition in your body.

Alternative healthcare practitioners,

Especially chiropractors,

Have used muscle testing for many years now.

It's often called applied kinesiology and used among other things to determine which nutritional supplements the patient needs.

That format involves one person muscle testing another person.

What we're going to focus on today is self muscle testing,

Using your own body to find out what you need.

Make sure you're both centered and hydrated before you start your work.

Begin by drinking a glass of water,

Then sit with your eyes closed,

Take a few deep breaths and connect down into the earth by imagining tree roots coming down through your legs,

Through your feet and down into the center of the earth.

Then connect up from your spine,

Through the crown of your head,

Up to the universe,

Source,

Spirit,

God or the divine,

Whatever you call him,

Her or it.

Once you've connected up,

Allow that energy from above to flow down through you back into the earth and then back up from the earth through you to the above.

Establish that flow and then gently come back to your body and slowly open your eyes.

The first exercise is the sway test.

And feel free to pause this talk at any point you need more time to practice as we go through the exercise.

The sway test is best done standing up,

Feet slightly apart and balanced in the middle of your center of gravity.

You can have your eyes open or closed.

As you stand there,

Think to yourself,

Artificial sweeteners are good for me and be aware of how your body reacts.

In what direction did it want to sway?

If you want a stronger reaction,

Think to yourself,

Drinking bleach is really good for me.

Hint,

The answer should be a strong no.

Is your body's response stronger than with artificial sweeteners?

Now think to yourself,

My name is,

I'm filling your name.

Does your body sway in a different direction from before?

You can try the statement,

Drinking fresh clean water is good for me.

You should now have some strong examples of how your body sways differently when it's giving you a yes versus answering no.

For most people,

The yes signal is swaying forward and no is swaying backwards.

But it's more important to find out your own calibration and use that.

Many people use this form of muscle testing when standing in front of supplements in their local store to find out what their body needs.

For a different experience of muscle testing,

You're going to need a heavy object that can be lifted with one hand.

That can be a five pound dumbbell,

That would be a little over two kilos.

You could also use a gallon of liquid,

Just over four liters.

Aim for a weight that is comfortably challenging to lift from,

To shoulder height with a straight arm.

Start off lifting it either in front of you or to the side,

Just to get a feel of how strong you are without any particular thoughts.

You can then repeat the process while thinking,

Drinking bleach is good for me,

And you should find that your arm muscles are considerably weaker.

If you repeat once more while thinking,

Drinking clean fresh water is good for me,

You should be strong again.

Between this exercise and the Sway Test,

You should now have a clear sense of how your body can talk to you and give you a yes or no answer.

Now we're going to move into muscle testing using your hands.

I'm going to give you four different methods.

Firstly,

Make a circle with the thumb and index finger of one hand and point the index finger of your other hand inside the circle.

Now you can use that index finger to push against the circle you made with the other hand while thinking the word yes,

And again while thinking the word no.

The circle should hold strong while you're thinking yes,

And break apart when you're thinking the word no.

If the circle is too strong to break on no,

Relax your fingers a little until it does hold strong on yes while still breaking the circle on no.

Similarly,

If the circle doesn't hold on yes,

You're going to have to tighten up a little.

Work on what feels like the right calibration for your body.

The second finger test is done by interlocking two circles using the thumb and forefinger of each hand.

You want to try pulling them apart.

They should hold strong on yes and break apart on no.

The third method is making a circle using the thumb,

Index finger,

And middle finger of one hand and putting the thumb,

Index finger,

And middle finger of the other hand pointing into the circle.

This time you want to splay out the pointing fingers to separate them apart while inside the circle.

The same principle applies as before.

The circle should hold strong on yes and break apart on no.

The last method I'm going to share with you is the one-handed approach.

Using your middle finger,

Push down on the tip of the adjacent index finger.

You want your index finger to hold strong on yes and for your index finger to go weak on no.

You don't need to master all of these finger testing techniques.

Just find the ones that work for you.

Using the two-finger testing is more discreet in public than,

For example,

Using a pendulum.

And using the one-handed testing can be more discreet than using two hands.

It will take practice to calibrate yes and no with your fingers.

Enjoy practicing.

Once you are comfortable with how your chosen method feels for your fingers,

You are ready to start asking questions.

If you haven't already listened to my talk on asking the right questions,

Now would be the time.

If you have already listened to it,

You may find benefit from listening to it a second time.

Thank you for sharing your time with me today.

TY, I tried this method in the past without much luck. However, I wasn't aware that there was various methods. So I was a bit skeptical. I am glad you explained different methods. I practiced the different methods and it worked for me. With all the methods, it is important to ground yourself first and be fully present. I enjoy having different methods to choose from. I started learning to muscle test on other people then a pendulum. Now I can self test with one hand using my index finger on my thumbnail for a No β€˜stick’ test or β€˜smooth’ Yes answer (or via versa). It’s a great discrete tool in public. Thanks for the extra self muscle testing techniques I found them helpful.

Lovely overview of the concept. It's one I use often, though when I first learned it - years ago, now - I never heard it described nor taught quite like this. Nicely done! Thank you for sharing this with us here. I see you and the light within you. Be well. 🀲🏻🀲🏻🀲🏻
