I have created this meditation as a natural sleep aid to help guide you into a deep and restful night's sleep.
Only listen to this meditation when you can safely relax,
Allowing my voice and this guidance to guide you to sleep faster and more effortlessly.
Begin by finding yourself in whatever position you can best fall asleep in,
Allowing your body to relax fully,
Adjusting whatever you need in order to find that sweet spot of comfort,
In order to feel completely grounded and relaxed so you can just be here,
Experiencing this meditation that is going to help guide you into a deep and restful sleep.
Whenever you find yourself in that comfortable position,
On your back,
Side,
Or belly,
Or whatever way you find is the most comfortable to sleep in,
Just gently close your eyes,
Bringing your awareness to your breath,
Breathing however fast or slow you normally do,
And just letting it be,
However it flows through you,
Whatever way feels the most natural,
Without thinking about it,
Simply just experiencing it,
Experiencing how the air feels as it circulates through your body,
Between your organs,
And into your lungs,
And then experiencing how it feels when the air leaves your body out of your lungs,
Back through those organs into space.
Continuing to experience this in-and-out flow of oxygen,
While simultaneously feeling the connection between your body and the place you are lying,
Feeling the connection between your skin and your clothes,
And your clothes to your bed,
While also recognizing how the air feels as it flows through your body,
Through this loving vessel that allowed you to experience your day,
That allowed you to do the things that you did today because it provided you with life.
Your breath is your life.
It is a life force energy that flows through you and keeps you alive.
It supports you through various experiences,
Allows you to interact with others,
And allows you to do everything you do throughout your day.
Let's take a moment to send some gratitude to your breath.
Send some gratitude to your lungs for working,
For keeping you alive,
For supporting,
Sending gratitude to your heart because it pumps blood throughout your body,
Also keeping you alive.
Sending gratitude to your joints and muscles for supporting your body as it gives you strength and structure.
Sending gratitude.
