Finding yourself a comfortable position either seated or laying down.
Just experience your body.
Experience your space.
Simply experience being.
Simply closing your eyes and fully surrendering to this experience.
Deep breath in through your nose,
Feeling the expansion of your belly and the expansion of your rib cage all the way up into your chest as you inhale.
And fully surrendering and letting go at the exhale.
Opening your mouth as the air flows through.
In the depths of our own darkness,
We find ourselves wishing and wondering why we were put up to this battle.
Why we are faced with pain.
Why we are faced with sadness.
Why there is always so much turbulence within us.
Knowing what we did to deserve such discomfort or torture or hurt.
We lose ourself playing victim and in turn only get buried deeper and deeper in our own struggles.
Although sometimes the darkness feels eternal,
It is not.
We are being exposed to these hardships of our existence so we can let them go.
So we can move past them and so we can create space.
Drawing your attention inward to the area of the body that feels the most weighted.
You don't need to recognize what the specific emotion is that you feel.
But just recognize how it feels in your body.
Maybe the area feels heavy.
Maybe thinking about it makes you feel sick.
Maybe you feel aches in your joints,
In your bones.
Or maybe you feel hollow in your stomach.
Just be the silent observer.
Really experiencing whatever it is that you feel in your body.
The pain isn't there to break you.
Breathing into that space or that area of tension in your body.
Imagine that area of pain expanding with your in-breath and slowly evaporating into nothingness.
Allowing that pain to fully dissipate with your breath.
Now take a long deep breath holding at the peak of your inhale for five seconds.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four,
And five.
And now slowly and fully surrendering letting all of that air go with an open mouth.
Holding at the exhale now for five seconds.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four,
And five.
Observing your body again and the openness that you're starting to create.
Or even just starting to call in.
With this openness we can begin to call in space and freedom into our body.
When we begin to accept these areas of pain and these areas of tension and these areas of discomfort we can fully let them go.
And in doing so,
In letting them fully go,
We create more space.
We can then start calling in abundance,
True freedom.
Knowing that we are no longer controlled by the thoughts that go on,
By the pain we feel,
By the darkness we've experienced.
We are not victims of our struggles.
With this new level of awareness that we've created,
Whenever we feel that weight,
That pain,
That tension circling throughout our body,
We can simply observe it,
Experience it drift away,
Knowing that it is not us,
That we aren't identified by the hardships we have faced and that we can fully and completely let go.
Take a long,
Deep inhale through your nose,
Feeling the expansion of your belly,
The expansion of your rib cage,
The expansion of your chest as you inhale,
Holding at the top and setting an intention for today.
This intention could simply be just allowing the pain to pass.
This intention could be creating that awareness so you don't feel tied to those heavy emotions.
Whatever that intention that you are setting is,
Hold it with you.
And on the exhale,
Fully and completely surrender to the breath,
Letting go of any weight,
Pain,
Worry,
Tension that you want to leave behind today that no longer serves you,
That you have created a level of awareness with,
That now you can fully let it go.
Take another deep inhale through your nose,
Again,
Feeling the expansion of your belly,
The expansion of your rib cage,
The expansion of your chest as you inhale,
Bringing in more and more oxygen into your body.
This oxygen is a life force that carries you throughout your days.
Holding at the top,
Sending gratitude to this air you breathe,
Knowing that it keeps you alive no matter what you are going through,
No matter what pain you feel,
No matter what hardships you face,
This air keeps you alive and breathing,
Show it some love.
And again,
Exhale through your mouth,
Simply just letting go,
Fully surrendering to your breath,
Fully surrendering to everything that you've experienced throughout your existence,
Knowing that it is just a part of your journey.
If you feel called to do so,
You're welcome to stay seated here or stay in this position,
Whatever that may look like for you,
For a little bit longer as you continue to breathe or experience your body.
But if you feel ready and if it feels safe to do so,
I invite you back to this room,
Back to the space,
Back to this current reality you are living in and experiencing.
Placing your palms together in your prayer position,
Focusing on the heat that is being generated,
The energy that is being generated between both palms,
And gently placing your palms over your eyes,
Feeling the heat over your closed eyes.
And as you slowly move your hands away,
Become fully present to this moment,
Gently opening your eyes,
Taking in your surroundings,
Taking in your environment,
Just experiencing what it's like to be back in this room,
Back in this space.
I want you to thank yourself for spending this time,
For taking a moment to just observe,
Observe your thoughts,
Your feelings,
Your emotions.
I thank you for joining me in this meditation today.
I hope you all have a beautiful day.
