Hello and welcome to this Lectio Divina on the final part of Psalm 78.
As we arrive into this Lectio Divina I invite you to welcome stillness.
Take a few moments to settle into your space,
To sink,
To let go.
Maybe allowing the day so far to fall away,
To know that right now nothing is demanded or required.
You're simply invited to be here and receive these words.
We welcome the Beloved's presence to weave and move through these words,
Picking out and picking up the ones that you need in this moment,
Noticing those that resonate and have a gift for you.
As we arrive you may want to lean back and let yourself be held in Divine Love's embrace,
Knowing that you're seen and known,
That your life matters and that you're accompanied in every breath and moment and movement of it.
I'm going to read all of the words three times.
On this first reading I invite you to simply let the words come.
Don't try to attach or notice any in particular.
Continue to settle in and find stillness as these words fall like a gentle rain over you.
Those who choose the way of darkness,
Who follow the road of ignorance become lost.
They know not the joy of abandonment to love's companioning presence.
O peoples of earth,
O nations around the globe,
Turn back to love.
Build anew upon strong foundations.
Renew your commitment to the divine plan.
Listen long in the silence that the word may be heard,
That decisions arise from the depths of your inner being where wisdom dwells.
For the spirit of truth is written upon gentle and open hearts,
Not as on stones of old.
With steadfast love will the counsellor guide you and to all who abandon themselves to the beloved will the divine plan be revealed.

On this second reading I invite you to notice any words or phrases that resonate,
That capture your attention.
Those who choose the way of darkness,

Is there anything specific that you are being invited to do in response?
Is there any change that you notice happening within you as you allow them to bring their gift and their goodness?
