Hi,
Thank you for joining me here today.
So today's meditation is going to be a self-love affirmations.
So we'll say three different affirmations,
Three sets of time.
This can be done before an interview or before public speaking or just to start your day on the right foot.
So you can start by finding a quiet space that you'll have some silence for the next little bit.
And start noticing your surroundings,
Taking in any sounds,
Any sights,
Maybe an object or color that sticks out to you.
Really notice this object.
Notice any shapes or maybe the way the light is hitting this object.
Notice any smells.
And whenever you feel ready to do so,
You can gently close your eyes.
Coming in contact with your breath.
The rise and the fall.
Taking a deep breath in and slowly letting it out all on the exhale.
Breathing in,
I am calm.
Breathing out,
I am at peace.
As your awareness stays with the breath,
Start to become aware of your body.
Notice any areas of tension.
Noticing or judging or trying to change,
Just noticing.
Noticing where your hands are placed.
How the clothing feels against your skin.
Become aware if your body feels busy or quiet or calm or restless.
Whatever it is,
Just letting it be and just taking note.
Notice how your mind feels today.
Does it feel busy?
Quiet.
Restless.
Calm.
Remember not judging,
Just letting it be.
Start to notice your heart center.
Become aware of the heartbeat.
If you can detect it.
If not,
That is perfectly okay.
Notice if there's any color or shapes that come to mind when you picture your heart.
So starting from this place of your heart center,
You'll repeat these affirmations either out loud or in your head.
One time.

Accept myself.

Respect myself.
Notice if there's any shifts in your heart center.
Taking a deep breath in and slowly letting it out.
Repeat these affirmations again.

Notice if there's any emotions or any feelings that come up.
Whatever comes up is completely okay.
Taking a deep breath in and slowly letting it out.

Notice how your heart feels right now.
As we begin to let go of these affirmations,
I want to remind you that you can always return to this anytime.
So starting to notice your hands wherever they're placed.
Noticing how your body feels against the surface below.
Noticing any sounds,
Any smells.
Taking a deep breath in and slowly letting it out.
Starting to make any small movements.
Maybe a stretch or a shoulder roll.
Whatever feels comfortable.
And before opening your eyes,
Send yourself a little gratitude for showing up today to this practice.
And know that any thoughts or emotions that have come up while doing this practice is completely okay.
And trying not to send any judgments to yourself.
And whenever you feel ready to do so,
You can gently open your eyes.
