Welcome,

Let's begin our meditation to help us create meaningful and lasting change in our lives.

I invite you to find a comfortable position,

Perhaps that means sitting in a chair,

Sitting on the floor,

Or laying down.

Whatever position you decide to take,

Make sure that you feel naturally supported,

Naturally held,

And as comfortable as possible.

As you settle into your seat,

I invite you to close your eyes if that feels good to you.

You're also welcome to have them one-tenth open or nine-tenths closed.

Take a nice deep inhale through the nose,

And exhale through the nose.

Perhaps this is your first mindful,

Intentional breath of the day,

And that's okay.

Throughout this practice,

We will use our breath as an anchor.

For creating the meaningful and lasting changes that we desire to make in our lives.

All you have to do is bring a moment of awareness to the practice of deep,

Meaningful,

And intentional breathing.

Let's do that now.

Take a nice deep inhale through the nose,

And exhale through the nose.

Notice how you feel after taking in one intentional breath.

Allow that feeling,

Sensation,

And awareness to begin to permeate your energy.

The breath is a powerful gift,

One that allows us to focus,

Center,

Pause,

And gain a little bit of relief.

So often,

We set goals for ourselves,

Whether it's to start a new workout routine,

Eat a little bit more mindfully,

Start a creative project,

Or simply do something that changes our current state.

Sometimes we start with the momentum of the newness,

The excitement,

The commitment that this time it will change.

And for some,

It does.

And for others,

That change doesn't last very long.

Let's take a nice deep,

Mindful breath as we honor any feelings that may be arising,

As we recall any experience where perhaps our change did not last.

Deep inhale,

And exhale.

As you feel the disappointment,

The regret,

Notice what happens in your body.

Do you feel a tightness or heaviness anywhere?

If you do,

I invite you to take a nice,

Deep,

Intentional breath into that space.

Honor it,

Acknowledge it,

Thank it for its wisdom,

And let it go.

Let's take a nice,

Deep,

Clearing breath.

Let go of any shoulds or any expectations that you may have placed on yourself in the past.

All that is done now.

We are welcoming new energy in,

Anchored by the power and beauty of our breath,

To facilitate any change with ease,

With grace,

And a beautiful,

Peaceful momentum that will assist us in creating the change we wish to create in a lasting and meaningful way.

Take a deep breath in,

And out.

It is now time to mentally repeat these affirmations to assist you in creating the meaningful change you wish to create for yourself.

I am centered.

I am grounded.

I see my vision clearly.

I am strong.

I am confident in my ability to create lasting and meaningful change.

I enjoy playing with the energy of what I am creating.

I rest in the knowledge that I am capable of creating the changes I wish to create.

In fact,

I am currently making those changes now.

My energy is aligning to that which I wish to create.

My heart is centered and focused on that thing that I know will bring me the most meaningful impact.

I am centered.

I am focused.

I am strong.

I am committed to the changes that I wish to make.

I hold myself in an energy of grace.

Whenever I falter or fall off my path,

I smile and know that I am a few steps ahead of where I was before.

I touch my hand to my heart,

Recommit to my vows,

To the energy that I am setting,

To the goals that I am wishing to create.

I am strong.

I am focused.

I am committed to creating that which I so desire to create.

I take meaningful,

Small steps every day as I create this new vision,

This new path,

And this new experience for myself.

I maintain in my heart the reason why I am desiring to make these changes.

I express deep gratitude for my mind,

My body,

My heart,

And my circumstances,

Which every single moment are coming together to create the most ideal situation for the change that I wish to create.

I am strong.

I am committed.

I am focused on creating a peaceful momentum that allows me to make meaningful changes every single day,

Helping me get closer and closer to my goals.

I celebrate my accomplishments,

Big and small.

I rest in the energy of honoring every attempt,

Every step forward,

And every step backward.

For every step backward teaches me something about how best to move forward in deeper and more natural alignment with my goal.

Take a deep breath in and out.

Allow yourself this time to rest in this beautiful energy that you are creating for yourself.

Allow yourself the opportunity to sit in the energy of your goal,

Your vision,

That thing that you wish to bring into your life.

Allow yourself this opportunity to really deeply connect with your truest desires.

For when you connect with those truest desires,

You will bring forth a surge of peaceful momentum,

Energizing energy,

And a renewed commitment to the changes that will bring most meaning and impact into your life.
