Let's do the anchor meditation together.
Setting aside some time now where you know you won't be disturbed or distracted,
Let's start focusing on your breath.
Take a few deep breaths here,
Noticing that your breath can go to any place inside of you,
Inside your physical body that might be holding any stress,
Tension,
Or worry.
Allow the power of your breath to hold you and to touch any place inside of you that might be holding this tension.
Allow your breath to wash the relaxation down from your head,
All the way down to the tips of your toes.
With each breath,
Noticing more and more relaxation.
Now we're going to drop your anchor.
Your anchor is a place that's just for you.
It is a place of safety and calm.
It's a place of connection and grounding.
And your anchor can be any place you'd like.
Perhaps your favorite place in nature,
A spot that you recall with love and fondness.
A place inside of you perhaps,
Or a place that's very grounding,
Perhaps the center of the earth.
Wherever that might be for you,
Go ahead and intend to ground yourself in that place,
Knowing that any time,
Today,
Tomorrow,
Tonight,
You can simply take a breath and it will bring you to this place,
This calm,
Safe,
And warm place.
Good.
And any intention that you'd like to make for your day,
Bring that forward too.
Wonderful.
And just taking a few more relaxing deep breaths to set your anchor today,
Allowing the relaxation to be here with you.
Feel yourself now coming back into your body.
Notice that you can wiggle your fingers and toes,
Flutter your eyelashes,
Ready to move on to the next thing from a calm,
Grounded,
Warm,
And safe place.
