Jessica Brown is a clinical nutritionist, Stanford University School of Medicine Certified Compassion Teacher, author, educator, and speaker with more than 25 years of experience helping people transform their relationship with food. She is the author of Beyond the Shot: Inner Work for Lasting Success on Weight Loss Medications and The Loving Diet. Jessica specializes in the emotional and psychological aspects of eating, combining evidence-based nutrition with self-compassion, behavior change, and parts work to help individuals create lasting transformation. Her work focuses on emotional eating, binge eating, body image, food noise, and supporting people using GLP 1 medications, including Ozempic, Wegovy, Zepbound, and Mounjaro. She is on the visiting faculty at the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, where she teaches Mindful Eating to health coaches around the world. Jessica completed Stanford University School of Medicine's Applied Compassion Training through the Center for Compassion and Altruism Research and Education and integrates compassion science into all aspects of her work. Through her writing, teaching, and private practice, Jessica helps people move beyond willpower and build a healthier, more compassionate relationship with food and themselves.
