Good morning and welcome to your meditation practice.

I hope you slept well and now are in a space where you can allow yourself to get comfortable and start to receive some of the benefits of a morning meditation practice.

It is my hope that you'll be able to use this practice almost as a daily ritual.

A daily ritual that will help you find alignment and intention and clarity at the beginning of your day.

So let's start first just by settling into a comfortable seated pose.

You may still be in bed or you may have found a comfortable spot maybe on the floor or a chair.

Wherever you are,

Start to settle down into your sitting bones as you sit up nice and tall through the crown of your head.

Feel your spine really strong and tall.

And lift your waist away from your hips a bit.

Let your shoulders soften down your back.

Now let's take a bit of movement to start our day.

So we're going to drop the chin down and in towards your chest,

Just lengthening the back of your neck.

Very subtle,

Very gentle.

And let's inhale,

Lift the chin up towards the ceiling,

Opening the throat and opening the heart.

We'll exhale,

Take it all the way back down,

Chin to chest.

Inhale chin towards the sky,

Open throat,

Open heart.

Let's come back to center,

Dropping your left ear towards your left shoulder this time.

Feel the right shoulder get a bit heavy and breathe.

Let's inhale,

Come up through center as you exhale,

Second side,

Right ear,

Right shoulder.

Feeling length across the side of your neck,

Maybe down into your shoulder.

Inhale,

Come on back to center.

We'll take just some gentle shoulder rolls here,

Start to roll the shoulders up towards the ears and then down the back,

Just drawing some soft circles.

Getting some motion and some space into your body after a full night's rest.

You can reverse the direction of your circles,

Taking your shoulders around towards the back and then up towards the ears,

Finally coming forward,

Rolling towards your chest.

As you're ready,

Settle down into stillness again.

Let's settle back into our seat.

We can start here by softening just the edges of your body.

So let your elbows be loose.

Maybe your palms are resting open towards the ceiling.

Your shoulders are heavy down your back,

Maybe even broadening across your collarbones a bit.

Your jaw is relaxed.

Your forehead is relaxed.

Maybe even seeing if you can relax the skin on the crown of your head.

Taking a few moments just to soften all the way around the body here.

Take our awareness now into the breath.

Let's start by taking a big inhale deep into the base of the belly.

As you're ready,

Open your mouth,

Sigh it out.

Big inhale,

Belly breath.

Sigh it out.

One more.

Inhale.

Exhale.

Gently allow your lips to close,

Return to a natural breath.

We're beginning to cultivate maybe a sense of depth and intention with your breath here.

So see if you can start to draw your inhales all the way down in the base of your belly,

Filling up with air.

Then as you exhale,

Your belly draws back towards your spine,

Working to release some of that sleepy energy that might be hanging around in the body still.

All the while staying soft.

Taking these exercises very lightly.

And we'll start to notice now just how you're feeling today.

Notice how you woke up,

Maybe what the energy level of your thoughts is like this morning.

How your physical body is feeling.

Such a beautiful and simple door into our self-care practice.

This practice of just meeting ourselves where we are.

Take a moment here at the very beginning of your day and just notice where you are.

Now we're going to bring some intention,

Some manifestation into our morning.

So start by asking yourself in your heart how you want to feel today.

I think it's a beautiful and empowering truth that we have this ability to choose how we feel most of the time.

So taking this moment here to choose how you will meet your day today.

Maybe even starting to envision yourself living today through your highest and most intentional self.

Now for the rest of our practice here,

I'm going to be offering you some morning affirmations of alignment.

So as I say these affirmations,

Just take a moment to hear and receive my words and then repeat them internally to yourself.

I choose gratitude and prosperity today.

I open myself up to receiving whatever blessings the universe has for me today.

I am connected to my highest creative and compassionate potential.

I choose to honor connection today.

I am a vehicle for divine love and I share it with those I interact with.

I am focused,

Clear,

And confident in my work.

I give myself permission to take space and to say no.

I take confident and aligned actions towards achieving my goals.

I will nourish my body with healthy,

Energizing foods and give myself space to move and to breathe.

I trust that everything I need comes in the perfect moment.

I am here to live and be,

Not work and do.

Taking these final few moments here,

If there are any other personal affirmations that are floating to the surface of your heart,

Take a moment here to just honor those and repeat those to yourself.

With the grace of divine love,

Take a moment to invite these transformations and manifestations to sink into your heart and come into your life.

And allow yourself to go forward into your day with trust,

Knowing that all that was meant to be for you is on its way.

Taking a moment to return to your breath,

Noticing your inhales and your exhales.

Return to your body,

To the feeling of yourself in the room and start to slowly integrate yourself back into your day.

As you're ready,

You may wiggle your fingertips and your toes,

Softly opening up your eyes.

May our lives be an honor to the divine love that guides our universe and brings us life.
