Hello,

I invite you to select a small piece of your favorite snack.

It can be a raisin,

A nut,

Or a chocolate bar.

Place it in a dish.

Sit at your dining table.

Put away all electronic devices,

Such as your phone.

There should be no distractions.

Begin by observing the food,

Its color and shape.

Now reach for the food and hold it in your hand,

And feel its temperature and texture.

Now lift the food to your mouth,

But just before that,

Allow yourself to take in its aroma.

Now place the food into your mouth and taste it with your tongue before taking a bite.

Now gently and slowly take your first bite and savor the taste.

Notice how your body on autopilot began to swallow.

Continue to chew the food slowly,

And when you have swallowed the last piece,

Allow yourself to bask in the aftertaste of its flavors still on your tongue.

Now use this practice whenever you eat your meal to allow you to eat less and to truly enjoy the moment.

I wish you continued blessings.
