Explore MeditationNikki is a yoga and meditation instructor who fell in love with yoga on a school trip to India in 2011 when she attended Temple University. During this class, she felt a sense of peace in her mind, body, and spirit that she had never experienced before. A handful of years later, she became dedicated to a consistent practice when she started attending in-person classes at a local studio. This consistency grew her love of yoga so much that she received a Level 1 Jivana (L.I.F.E.) Yoga instructor certification through Spiritual Essence Yoga & Wellness Center in 2020 and 200 HR Yoga Teacher Certification from Sankofa Yoga and Wellness Center in 2022. At the suggestion of a therapist, she began practicing meditation as a way to manage stress and increase inner peace. This eventually led her to expand her teaching skillset by obtaining a certificate from the Inward Illumination Meditation Teacher Training Program at Sankofa Yoga in 2023. When she is not practicing yoga or meditation, Nikki loves to relax, travel, and explore different cultures and cuisines. She has developed a passion for creativity and the arts and incorporates this into her daily life and wellness offerings.
