Hi everyone and welcome to your meditation.
The theme for this meditation is letting go,
Letting be,
Releasing and resetting,
Starting anew.
Let's all begin by just arriving in the space.
Wherever you are,
However you're arriving,
Just allow yourself to settle gently into this moment.
If it feels comfortable for you,
Gently close your eyes or simply lower your gaze downwards.
And let's all begin by taking in a nice deep breath in through the nose and gently exhale out through an open mouth.
Again,
Taking in a nice deep breath here,
Breathing in slowly through the nose and breathing out in a nice long exhale out through the mouth.
And we always say good things come in threes.
So let's all take in another deep breath here in through the nose,
Holding it for a moment at the top.
And then really think about lengthening,
Extending the exhale on the way down.
Letting go and letting be.
And now let's just allow the breath to return to its natural rhythm here and just notice,
Noticing the quiet rise and fall of your breath.
Feel your feet resting on the floor,
Your body supported by the chair or the mat,
Your hands resting softly in your lap.
And for these next few moments,
There's nowhere else you need to be,
Nothing else you need to do,
Nothing else you need to figure out right now or solve.
Just here,
Just breathing.
Now gently bring your awareness to the past week.
No need to replay everything,
Just notice what's still lingering for you.
Perhaps there were moments of stress,
Unfinished conversations,
Things you wish had gone differently,
Or simply the quiet weight of caring too much for too long.
Just notice what's there.
And if you sense any heaviness,
See if you can meet it gently,
Without judgment,
Without trying to fix anything.
And now imagine placing everything you've been carrying into a soft container beside you.
All the worries,
All the pressure,
All the expectations.
Just setting them down for now.
You don't have to carry everything into a new week or a new day.
Letting it go here,
Letting go and letting be.
And now let's bring your awareness back to the breath.
And just imagine that with every inhale,
You're creating a little more space inside.
And with every exhale,
You're letting go of what you no longer need.
Breathing in,
Creating space here.
Breathing out,
What you no longer need.
Releasing it and letting it go.
If it feels right,
Silently repeat to yourself.
Breathing in,
I soften.
Breathing out,
I let go.
Now gently scan your body.
Has any tension crept in?
Notice the forehead,
Smoothing out the forehead,
Softening the forehead.
The jaw,
Unclenching it,
Releasing the jaw.
Releasing your neck and shoulders.
Letting go,
Allowing them to drop.
Releasing any tension from the arms and hands.
Any tension from the fingers.
The hands resting gently on your lap.
Feeling the chest soften,
Softening the belly.
Release the hips.
Release any tension now in your legs and feet.
If there's any place still holding tension,
Just imagine sending the breath there.
Breathing in gently.
Breathing out slowly.
Releasing.
Now imagine yourself standing beside a quiet river.
The water moves steadily and calmly,
Never rushing,
Never stuck.
No forcing,
No rushing.
Just letting life carry what you no longer need.
You might release here fatigue,
Self-criticism,
Uncertainty,
Noise,
Or simply the pressure to hold everything together.
To get it all done today.
The pressure to do it all now,
Or the pressure to be perfect.
Let the river carry it.
And now notice what remains.
Beneath everything we release,
There is always something steady,
A quiet strength,
A calm presence.
The part of you that has carried you through so much already.
Rest there for a moment.
And from this place,
Gently sense the new week ahead.
Not everything about it.
Just the feeling of beginning again.
Fresh,
Unwritten,
Open.
And quietly set the intention.
May I move into this week with ease.
May I carry only what is mine to carry.
May I remember I can begin again.
Take one deeper breath now.
And slowly exhale.
Feel your body again.
The chair or the mat beneath you.
The room around you.
And whenever you're ready,
Gently opening your eyes,
Carrying with you a little more space,
A little more softness,
And the quiet knowing that you don't have to carry everything alone.
I'd love to close with this affirmation.
Softly repeat after me in your mind.
I release what I no longer need.
I trust myself to begin again.
I move into this week with ease.
I carry only what is mine to carry.
I am supported.
I am steady.
I am ready.
Taking another deep breath here and let it all go.
And I hope this helps you all take one step closer to finding your bliss.
