When you're ready,
Choose a position that best suits you in this moment,
One that is comfortable.
Gently resting your eyes,
Feeling into the support of the surface beneath your body.
Settling in,
Allowing the surface to hold and support you as your body gives in to gravity.
Taking this time for surrendering,
Melting down any tension,
Sinking more into the position you've chosen.
Thinking or analyzing any of those thoughts that may want to pop up about the past or future and allowing yourself to think those thoughts as you notice any outside noises.
Noticing them simultaneously.
And now,
I wonder if you could become 10% more relaxed in your body as it sinks deeper,
Those thoughts beginning to lift,
Drifting upwards and outwards,
Bringing that awareness in.
And noticing the faint sounds of your breathing as you inhale deeply here and exhale.
And here,
You might like to choose an intention,
A word or phrase that best describes how you'd like to feel and claim it,
Allowing it to conjure a desired emotion inside of you.
I choose to feel strong and resilient.
I am connected to the earth or however you'd like to feel.
You can confidently repeat it to yourself several times here.
As you take another deep breath in,
You can imagine sending that rejuvenating oxygen to different parts of your body,
Allowing your breathing to return to its natural state where it continues to deeply relax you,
Sending you more and easily transferring awareness from here to there,
Over and under.

And now back to the physical space surrounding you while taking those feelings along with you,
Feeling into the surface you're resting on and taking some time at your own pace to begin to awaken the body.
